You ever hear that quote about there being an american with a rifle behind every blade of grass? They probably wouldn't even get that far. I don't even know how they'd even get a sufficient amount of soldiers over here. On a boat? It'd be detected, and blown up. On planes? Same thing, detected and blown up. Even if they did manage to get in, the logistics of keeping all those soldiers supplied is ridiculous. Especially when you consider that they'd be in a large, armed, hostile country. Then they have to worry about traitors in the civil protection. You could get like ten dudes together, join the civil protection, then when you're in, you take all their shit/sabotage their shit. Correction: the American military would obliterate a Russian invasion because our military spending and the quality of our equipment are several orders of magnitude higher than Russia's. And that's pretending this would even happen when the threat of mutually-assured-destruction via nukes is on the table.

I'd join the rebels and harass ruskie forces with hit and run attacks and hit their supply lines. I wouldn't engage in conventional set piece battles like an idiot because guerrillas aren't fucking supposed to fight conventional armies head on. Then i'd go back to my normal life after the ruskies run out of ammo and supplies after like two weeks because the U.S navy and air force have been hitting their supply columns 24/7 while the army pushes their exhausted troops back to the coastline. Not sure how they thought having to cross the entire pacific ocean to supply their troops was gonna work.

The deserts in the Southwestern United States and the Great Lakes in the Midwestern United States insulate the major U.S. population centers from threats of invasion. An invasion from outside of North America would require long supply chains across the Pacific or Atlantic Ocean, for a great reduction of overall power, an invasion would have to come from the land borders through Canada or Mexico. While an attack from Mexico can be possible, California and Texas have the largest concentration of defense industries and military bases in the country, providing an effective deterrent from any Mexico-based attack. An attack launched from Canada on the Midwestern or Western United States would be limited to light infantry and would fail to take over population centers or other important strategic points, due to the U.S. having national parks there, providing U.S. military personnel or civilian fighters an advantage to conduct guerrilla warfare.

The world would get fucked badly if they tried to invade us.
