How the fuck do people have the mental energy to do all of this? 1 thing on this list will consume all of my mental energy, let a lone having to juggle it all at once.
Just making this observation made me realise there must be something seriously wrong with me in the head, because the vast majority of humans from all around the world seem to be able to do all of those things like its NOTHING.
mental illnes, being a brainlet etc will do that to you
Isaac Martinez
I'm trying so hard to become one,it took me like 2-3 years of trial and error and i finally found some normie interests to fit in
Sad but you have to deliberately drop your iq level just to be part of a society
The more you drop your iq the "broader" your social life will be
Levi Fisher
once you get used to doing it, it no longer takes mental energy friends are easy when you see them IRL and don't have to plan meetups, the same goes for live-in gfs or bfs ideally you only take on one new thing at a time
Aiden Adams
It is a lot. That's why many normies drink heavily and/or take pills/drugs.
Bentley Reyes
I agree user, that's why I'm splitting this banana stand and going off to live alone in a cave to make art for the rest of my life
Not sure why you used so many synonyms >School >Education same shit >Driving >Cars same shit >Intimate relationships >Marriage >Children Same shit >Friendships >Acquaintances Same shit >Hobbies >Interests Same shit >Holiday Social Gatherings >Parties >Birthdays Same shit >Engagements >Weddings >Funerals Same shit >Taxes >Mortgage/Rent Same shit
Boiled down, your list is basically >get educated >get a job >get friend >get gf >wife gf >do family things for the rest of your natural life Not that difficult, faggot.
Caleb Lewis
Highschool drop out
Never had a job
Dont know how to make friends
Dont know how to get GF
Cant imagine myself ever having a family
t. 31 years old btw
Alexander Wood
You are simply low test my guy
Jonathan Allen
Normies are normies because they fit within the society well. Everything that seems like a heavy task to you just comes to them naturally.
Logan Butler
I did it all.
It's not worth it.
If I could trade it all in for more time alone in my room, I would.
Evan Flores
I lift weights and gained an appreciable amount of muscle mass over the last 5 years doing it, so I cant possibly be low test.
Could a low test person Bench 100kg for 10 and deadlift 180kg for 10?
Alexander Brown
Why is everyone so hard for me? When I was in school everything else in life failed. When I was trying to get a job and keep the job EVERYTHING else in life failed. When I tried to get a GF, EVERYTHING else in life failed. When I try to make a friend, EVERYTHING in life fails. When I try to do anything new, everything I have earned before falls apart and fails.
I just can't multi-task life. I can only do 1 thing at once.
I can only work, or nothing else.
I can only have friends, or nothing else.
I can only play video games, or nothing else.
I have this fucking annoying thing where my brain just cannot focus on more than 1 thing at a time, everything else just gets swiped by the wayside.
Mason Torres
>Why is being a normie seem like such an insurmountable task to me?
>School Scheduling >Education Same as school, redundant >Driving Studying >Cars Same as driving, redundant >Sports Most poeople don't >Fashion Most people just wear a t-shirt and some jeans >Work Scheduling >Intimate relationships forming one is the hard part, it's all maintenance after that point >Friendships Talk to some faggots, hang out with them, invite them yourself to places >Acquaintances This should be easy, even for robots, literally just talk to some faggots you regularly see, but you don't hang out with them outside of work or school >Hobbies It's fun, a hobby is supposed to help you relax or have fun >Interests Somewhat redundant, with hobbies >Travels Most people don't travel because they are poor >Marriage Scheduling >Children Financial security and or planning >Holiday Social Gatherings Don't prepare them yourself, just get invited to someone else's >Parties Drink >Birthdays Buy yourself a cupcake if it's your birthday, if someone else's, get them a card and some fancy wine >Engagements Scheduling >Weddings Redundant, marriage covers this, but scheduling is what you need >Funerals Doesn't happen very often, scheduling >Taxes You pay them >Mortgage/Rent You pay them
Brayden Butler
I understand what you are supposed to do, thats not what I am asking.
I am just asking how people have the mental energy to do all of it.
When I was in school I was mentally drained the entire time and wanted to do nothing else in life.
When I was working I was mentally drained the entire time and wanted to do nothing else in life.
Even just being a NEET going to the gym, that is mentally draining and makes me want to do nothing else.
Even just having to do shopping for groceries mentally drains me.
Even just having to talk to a random neighbor who walks by and wants to talk to me drains all my mental energy.
I just dont have the mental energy for this world
I have been to several Psychologists and not a single one of them has even mentioned depression, so if I had that I am sure they would have told me by now
Hunter Bell
>Sad but you have to deliberately drop your iq level just to be part of a society
So when you're alone crying and fapping, does your IQ increase?
The difference between normies and us is that they do not have the ability to fantasize or find no enjoyment in it. Because "it's not real".
People who like anime and games like them because they are much more interesting than what you can do in real life. There are epic stories, entire other worlds to be explored, existiential concepts, abstract ideas, intriguing characters etc. Fantasy is vast and really making reality much more interesting than just satisfying your baseline primitive desires.
The extent of a normies ability to fantasize is to watch a quick 1 hour movie, with no real investment. They go away after the movie not really caring, for them it is just a quick distraction and primarily for the social interaction aspect of it. Normies are driven by social validation, this is why facebook is such a huge thing for them.
Normies succeed in real life because it's all they do. All they deal in is real life. If you dedicated all your time to your job, relationships, business, people etc you'd be good at those things too.
Another thing is that normies never ask questions like "why do i exist?" they just don't care. They care about whats for dinner, what time stacey is coming over and whats going on at work tommorow. They only care about food, sex and shelter.
drop your iq? what makes you think people with better social skills than you have lower iq's? the answer is nothing because you don't truly think that because you know just as much as i do that it's an excuse you cling onto because your pseudo-intellectualism is all you have
Justin Evans
Fuck this is true Another element here is how prominent your just-world-bias is. Normal people weight more on the illogical side, as if you logically processed this world, you'd go fucking nuts. Like me
Brody Murphy
Stop trying to or wishing you could live life by "the rulebook" Normies aren't happy I was happier when i wasted my summers here
Benjamin Martin
To add to this. there's nothing wrong with that, we need people like that in life. And there is real enjoyment to be had in that kind of lifestyle. If you are on r9k because you're a failed normie than that's really bad. Only actual otaku and people with neurotic mental illness belong here.
Ryan Gutierrez
Lolno High IQ actually makes it easier to interact with people because you understand how they're thinking Einstein had a wife and a large circle of friends t. actually professionally tested at >140 IQ
Anthony Wood
You sure they didn't just want to be with him because he was seen as smart, thus if they hung out with them, they would be seen as so too?
That, and or intelligence and socializing prowess is kind of like an exponential curve, it's low at the normal IQs, but suddenly jumps up at the higher ones.
Adrian Kelly
>If you are on r9k because you're a failed normie than that's really bad. It is Life seems less bad when i'm here, but it's all time i'm wasting not fixing my probably salvageable social situation, digging myself a deeper hole Then again it's therapeutic giving your input on the shit that gets posted here starts to make you more sure of yourself and your own principals But then there's the issue of that being a slippery slope There are better ways to deal with your problems than by using Jow Forums Yet we still come back whether that's every hour, every day, every week, once a month or so, or on the occasion why? why are we still here? just to suffer
>driving >cars Knowledge of driving is different from knowledge of cars >initmate relationships >marriage >children All completely different things with their own unique challenges >Taxes >Mortgage/Rent Very different and both stressfull
Levi Phillips
Failed normies usually resort to drugs. I guess r9k is better than drugs.
Nathaniel Ramirez
it's really not nobody wanted to come out & do drugs with me today so here i am
Isaiah Gomez
You have act like a dumb sheep like everyone else to be accepted by other people
Jace Torres
You don't need knowledge of cars, what op meant was probably acquiring a car.
Taxes, mortgage and rent are different, but at the end of the day, they are just things that you pay off, so really they don't offer any different challenges.
Intimate relationships, children and marriage. Most normies don't really have good relationships and end getting divorced anyhow. Children is easy, just fuck, and hope you or your wife aren't sterile, if you are, adopt, in vitro, etc.
David Morris
Hey, normies aren't bad. Their priorties are just different.
Your dad and mum are probably normies. Most parents are normies and they helped raised and provide for you, nothing wrong with normies.
Carson Allen
Most normals, are at the least, one of these 3 things: >Arrogant >condescending >patronizing
Especially towards non-normies.
Juan Nguyen
Ben shapiro's sister is so fuckin hot
Jaxson Martin
People crave validation, and intelligent peoples validation is worth more then a stupid persons validation. Getting a retard to laugh is simple, smack yourself in the forhead. Getting a brainiac to laugh, takes wit.
Lol no. It's consumption. If you consume video games, music, news shows, food, traveling - yes, traveling is consuming content. One might even argue consuming video games, anime etc is worth less then consuming real life. We have the issue that success is measured in real life, not in anime watching, so it looks worse that way.
