It's literally rent-free living!

Bumpy mcbumperson, famalam

>friends
Besides I'd rather personally get a boat but either option is far too much money.

I don't have a single friend or no social skills whatsoever because I'm a diagnostic autistic.

What should I do with a cold van? Especially at the night. And can't have my stationary computer there or good Wi-Fi. What if a fucking crazy man decised to rob me?

If you want to live like a dumb nigger then move to a nigger country. That's my advice for the maker of the film.

Also can't be fun spending all that gas money when you are not working.

Shitty degenerate video and if we had normal mods then this stupid shit would deleted and you would get banned for uploading it here, idiot.

I have a van for driving around Europe in the summer. but I'd never live in it. I like being able to accumulate wealth and vote

I've done short 3-5 day trips like this in a regular car and it's pretty comfy. I usually spend nights at Walmart because I can brush my teeth and get snacks there, or at a free federal campsite if I'm out in the woods.

Lovin' it, meng! Glad you enjoyed the vid.

I know, I'm thinking about getting a van too. Seems like an awesome way to go

i live in canada where winters would kill me if i was in a van
the cops would bother me constantly
the stress of finding a place to park would be annoying
the posture problems you'd get from sitting or laying in a van all day will fuck you up (so you need to live out of it which is not easy for an introvert
having to go to a gym or wherever to shower/take a shit would be annoying after a while

some people can make it work though, i like the idea of it but i don't think i could pull it off

I'm actually looking to buy a piece of raw land, it's actually pretty cheap where I'm at. The lowest priced one I've found is a hundred bucks, but it's just too small and weirdly sized.

Still, for a cool grand, you can get something decent.

But I did nigger. Im having lots of fun. Ill be here to answer questions.

Awesome, that looks great, my dude. Drivin' in the van, goin' on adventures, that's the life for sure.

Any interior pics? Did you have to do any work on it? How much did it cost, all-in?

I dont want to post too many interior pics because there is a lot of private stuff hanging around. Here is my view out the door while lying down though.
>Did you have to do any work on it? How much did it cost, all-in?
Installed solar, battery, converted the toilet to composting. I originally paid around $4k for the van, and put another $1.5k into those other things. I dont use any of the original ammenities, so probably add in another $800 for things like 12v heater, fan, Coleman grill, etc.

vanchad is that you?

I moved into the van because I was too much of aspie to hold down a minimum wage job. Hardly a Chad.

Have you ever stayed anywhere long term?

I want a compact japanese rv to do this

You can get away with staying in the same Walmart or library for about a week before people get wise and you get shoed out. I would like to have somewhere more perminant so I dont spend too much on gas, but I haven't yet. Anyone have a driveway to spare?

>no friends
>cant afford a van
>cant afford insurance for a van
>can't afford fuel for a van

Terry lost his virginity at 47 in a van.

Pay for like two months of insurance. If you are traveling out of state, cops have to use a different database to look it up to make sure its valid/legit, and they often dont bother. If they do, usually they will let you call your insurance company to put it back on, then you just pay another few months and cancel it. The van itself and fuel will be expensive though. What I did is I worked my ass off 70 hours a week at the grocery store and slept outside for two months and saved up to make the initial purchase and now I just do odd jobs for gas money.

this is my plan. going on adventures in a van with my gf. meeting up with my bizarre internet friends and fucking around, having new experiences. its what makes us human
how do you make money

This has been my plan, to keep moving and change spots every 3-4 days to stay safe. If you're in the US, there are free federal campsites you can stay at for 2 weeks. My backup plan is to have a rotating network of 10 or so campsites that I can stay at. I've found some along a small mountain river so I can bathe and have drinking water. May even go full /mountain man/ if I get all of the gear.

link his channel

i unironically want to do this. saving up to grab a cheap minivan and save money on rent and utilities and all that bullshit.

i want to buy property, but i'll never get there on my comfy job unless i make some drastic savings.

>ywn travel the country with your robot buddies in your comfy vans

>how do you make money
I do internet jobs, and the "gigs" section of craigslist is good. I have a sign that says "will work for food" and usually if I hold that up someone will employ me for the day doing lawn work or cleaning, and I will make gas money or food money for the week.
I like the camgrounds for the peace and quiet, but one nice thing about Walmart or something is that if you have a high gain 2.4GHz antenna you can steal wifi and shitpost from the comfort of your van.

I made a board on 8ch called /hobo/ that I am working on posting tips on as well, if you want to ask questions or contribute there.

R8 my idea
>buy an older 4x4 SUV for about $2k
>live in it while working as a freelance ghostwriter for $10/hr
>save up for a year or so
>buy an older used trailer for about $2k
>tow it with the SUV
>buy a few acres of undeveloped land near a small town for $5-10k
>max 1 hour drive from hospital, stores, post office, etc
>park trailer on the land and start growing a garden, then building a small house
Poke holes in this plan

The thing about SUVs is that they have very little headroom. It is very uncomfortable to try and work on a computer in one. You will need to spend a lot of time in starbucks or the library. Also, good SUVs that will last you a while are in high demand, and will probably cost you more than $2000, unless you want to get and old chevy blazer with a transmission that is going to need $1000 of work in the next year. My suggestion would be skip the SUV and move directly to a class B or a small class C RV, or an E350 van. you will get basically the same fuel economy, older RVs are usually low milage, and you can comfortably live in them full time once you get used to it.

>You will need to spend a lot of time in starbucks or the library.
That's exactly my plan. I already do this even though I have a perfectly good bedroom to work in. I just like being around people and sometimes making casual conversation with fat roasties who sit next to me at Starbucks.

Where do people like this get all their money, enough to switch up living on the road and luxury so much?

Man, I cannot stand when people talk with me in public. You must be a crazy person. What kind of ghostwriting are you doing?

I write for a living and I'm branching off into more freelance stuff now, so I'll throw three pieces of advice at you.

>1. You need credibility & recognition.
If you haven't already, start getting as much of your work published as possible. Getting articles published in your local news paper is a good place to start.
Your name is your brand as a writer. If you have little to no publication under your belt most potential clients will not take you seriously.

>2. Negotiate flat fees over hourly rates.
This will save you headaches down the line and will generally be seen as more appealing to potential clients. Hourly rates give the impression that you're going to drag your feet to maximize your pay.

>3. ALWAYS BE TALKING TO PEOPLE.
GO TO EVENTS. GO TO LITERALLY ANYTHING. NETWORK LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER.
Seriously. Jobs will fall into your lap if you're approachable.

I moved to Busan South Korea not too long ago to fill a position for work, but because I put the time into getting to know people, I have no issues getting contracts for side work from all around Korea.

I miss this man so much

I got laid once by letting a girl know about Terry.
Good man.
