It starts a lil slow, but it's worth watching if you liked the og naruto. It's really cool to see where everyone ended up, and what the next gen of shinobi are like

Yeah I agree with this user. In terms of plot and character development it's nothing to write home about but I think what made this show such a huge success is the world building. Masashi Kishimoto really nailed it out of the park by utilizing Japanese lore and mythology to make such a fun world to play around with. I'd say the strength of the show is the fighting animation as well the music which always got me pumped as a kid.

Tip: look up a filler list for naruto. Some anime has good filler but naruto is known for having garbage filler. If you don't know what filler is it's just episodes in the anime that were never in the manga. I promise you will lose nothing from not watching the filler material and if you do watch it you'll probably find it insufferable. Also another tip is to watch it subbed, meaning don't watch it in english. The only reason is that the english voice acting for naruto is notoriously terrible, as it is for many many anime
