I'm willing to bet that this guy only does lat pulldowns and cable rows and still manages to have those wings. I tried all variations of pulldowns, one arm cable rows, cable rows, barbell rows and it's variations, dumbell rows, deadlifts and it's variations and still have shit lats. I truly believe that the only way of building big lats is with heavy rack pulls.

Why swimming?
It builds the fuck out of your lats if you do it consistently for a few years. I swam and I can get away with undertraining my lats (although I choose not to) and have a retardedly wide back as a Natty. Freestyle and butterfly are ideal for this
