Your options are to either have a shit ton of money saved up, have some one send you money, or you need to find some type of hussle.
Prison really isn't that bad if you have money, or a means of making it while your in there.

As far as how to act? Be respectful. You can go years without ever getting into trouble, or a fight, or anything bad happen to you really as long as you treat everyone around with you respect.
What sucks is the vast majority of these human beings don't even deserve the smallest modicum of respect so it's kind of hard. Just pretend.
Also work out. If people notice you never work out, and are in shitty shape they are more likely to want to fight you.

Keep to yourself at first and don’t try to be too funny. Most of the guys are nice dudes as long as you’re being chill, just don’t try to fuck with them, watch what you’re saying. And always trade food, phone calls etc. for credit and other things. You should be fine but when you get out your head will be all fucked up, prison mentality sticks around for a bit. I personally was in the slammer 2 weeks ago and it fucking sucks. Take every opportunity you can to go outside or do work release etc.

you need to make people fear you. prison is like the ultimate proving grounds where the only language people understand is violence. you need to create the image of being a psychotic time bomb who might slit your throat at the slightest provacation. you need to put a few people in the infirmary before you will be left alone. just workout every day and practice MMA in your cell all the time. be fully prepared to kill. there is no room for "humanity" in prison or any kind of mercy. you beat some nigger in a fight, you stomp on him till all his bones are broken and hes in a wheelchair for the next couple years. also get some nazi tattoos so you can join the skinhead gangs in there. those should be the only people you stay loyal to.

Hard to get data on recent prison rapes because of the PC culture and SJW bullshit. Although a lot of people I've met who've been to prison in recent years have confirmed the validity of the stories I've posted here and how it still goes on in prison despite the twenty year difference.
