Italy is the best most civilized country in the history of the whole world, prove me wrong
>world class food(best pizza, best pasta, best ice cream) >world class clothes and brands(gucci, versace, tailor made suits and a bunch of watch brands) >world class music(based ding dong mood music such as: youtube.com/watch?v=iVHvaKo15Pw) >world class leadership(literally have it all, strong leadership like Mussolini but also entertainers like Berlusconi) >world class architecture(renaissance Churches, public squares made of marble etc.) >world class art(Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael etc.) >world class religion(Holy Roman Catholic Church, the one true Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself) >world class history(fascinating happenings, world domination, fall of Rome, ups and downs, literally everything) >world class morals(still one of the most moral western nations even in this time of widespread modernism and relativism) >world class sports(italian football) >world class luxury items(italian cigarettes, most of the gold in jewelry stores comes from italy) >world class sayings(all roads lead to Rome) etc. There's just too many things to list
Yet they never quite civilised the rest of the world in the way that Great Britain and the rest of Western Europe did
Dominic Collins
Italy is the the best, prove me wrong. You can't. You know that everyone else is plebs compared to roman high culture. Now save up some money and buy that plane ticket to Italy so you can slurp your spaghetti al dente as you're supposed to
>Mussolini >Strong Leadership Yeah, like when he bravely lead his country to be the first one on the mainland occupied by the allies. Also, modern Italians get credit for Rome as much as modern Amerimutts can claim the values of their Revolution (i.e. they can't).
Julian Ward
>Italy is the best most civilized country in the history of the whole world you're wrong user, so very wrong
>world class food(best pizza, best pasta, best ice cream) Good point >world class clothes and brands(gucci, versace, tailor made suits and a bunch of watch brands) lmao who cares. Most of them are in the hands of non italian companies anyway. >world class music(based ding dong mood music such as: youtube.com/watch?v=iVHvaKo15Pw) If only this was true today....but the mainstream scene is pretty shitty desu. >world class leadership(literally have it all, strong leadership like Mussolini but also entertainers like Berlusconi) Holy fuck this triggers me so much. Mussolini brought the country on his knees with retarded decisions. My grandparents were literally starving even before the war. As for berlusconi, yeah, he's a meme, but he also did only stuff to save his own ass. On the other hand, compared to the idiots we have today, he's the best president ever. >world class architecture(renaissance Churches, public squares made of marble etc.) True. Too bad there maintenance (if there's any) is poorly made. But hey, we need to give people free gibs
>world class art(Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael etc.) agree >world class religion(Holy Roman Catholic Church, the one true Church founded by Jesus Christ Himself) Oh, yes, we're so proud to have the King of the Pedos here. >world class history(fascinating happenings, world domination, fall of Rome, ups and downs, literally everything) It's a messy history, but it sure is interesting >world class morals(still one of the most moral western nations even in this time of widespread modernism and relativism) AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA This is a country based on clientelism. high corruption, being lazy fucks but expect for the state to provide for everything (despite not paying taxes) >world class sports(italian football) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2006_Italian_football_scandal >world class luxury items(italian cigarettes, most of the gold in jewelry stores comes from italy) Meh >world class sayings(all roads lead to Rome) Ok, that's also true.
Overall, italy is a country for old people. If your young, unless you have the luck to come from a good family, it's probably better to build your career abroad.
>it's probably better to build your career abroad. what career? You think I have a career? I wish I had a real career instead of posting my ideals on r9k
Going to get a degree in Computer Science. We have one of the lowest average salary in europe in this sector. So yeah, it's better to btfo as soon as I get the piece of paper
In the meantime, i'll start working for full time (40 hrs week) for 500_/month (because nobody gives you a proper contract. You need to make at least 6 months/a year of experience in the company first), in the IT department of a medium size company. The only reason they interviewed me, despite not having the degree yet (because in theory it was mandatory) is just because my uncle is best friend to the guy who's gonna be my boss. And that's for someone with an uni degree. I let you imagine the situation if you don't have one. Unless you have a good family, or connections, or maybe you just pick the right sectors, in those cases it might be easier. But you need to eat a lot of shit for a few years.
What make it worse, is listening to baby boomers complaining about young people still living with their parents. Holy fuck I fucking hate them.

>pizza, pasta and ice cream These aren't even good foods to begin with, it's what you make at office parties because it's cheap and filling and ice cream is good, but just not my thing. I thought Italians had a more varied diet than this.
Christian Powell
You FILTHY baka gaijin hentai. Italy is shit tier compared to BASED Nippon. If I went to Italy I'd only eat big Macs because their Pizza SUCKS compared to glorious American establishments like Pizza hut or Dominoes.
>Italy is shit tier compared to BASED Nippon this coming from a weeb who worships japanese drawings. Pretty funny how japs didnt know how to draw even moe anime until mid 2000s, not to mention actual art
And yet photorealistic art has aged terribly because it's rendered pointless by digital cameras and photography.
Meanwhile anime is the best form of art and animation in the medium today.
Jace Morgan
>rendered pointless by digital cameras and photography. That's the biggest nonsense I've read today. It's not rendered pointless because the art often visualizes supernatural events that weren't photographed(such is the case in most of the art pieces in Churches across Italy). And while the art can be called photorealistic it's still art and differentiates itself from real life photographs with its own glorious color scheme and exaggerated expressions of situations and the people that it describes. Besides the wonder of how could someone paint something so real and beautiful by hand remains to this day and nobody has bested the renaissance artists. On the contrary modern day "art" is a joke and takes no skills to produce.
As far as anime goes, it's generic mass produced garbage for the most part. Some of it is entertaining, but there is hardly anything original and it's not comparable to renaissance art on any spectrum.
Low IQ americunt, there are many italian regions which have a higher HDI than Mississipi. Italy is ranked 16th out 122 countries in the world in that chart, dumbass.

>What do you mean? it's pretty common in Italy that if you go to a cafe for example the costs for the same things such as coffee are higher if you go sit down at a table instead of sitting at the bar counter. The menus display 2 prices for the same thing, there's a separate for "table" and "counter" or something. However some things cost the same amount, at least I recall that the red bull cost the same whether it was from counter or sitting down. So if you wanna sit down on a budget just order red bull
Angel Hughes
True, but not true. It's true in some restaurants, but nowadays small restaurants don't make you pay to sit anymore. And even when you pay it, it's just a few euros. As for bars, it's true only if you go somewhere like Venice or wherever there's a fuckton of tourists. It's basically a way to discourage people to sit down since those place are always full. Just avoid tourists traps. There's plenty of places to eat really good italian food for very cheap.
And btw, it's still less retarded than paying tips :^)
Dylan Diaz
>And btw, it's still less retarded than paying tips :^) thiiis
John Lopez
It's ranked 25 out of 122 but whatever floats your boat 3rd worlder.
