I did terrible in high school lack of motivation and didn't go to uni but did go the community college route and got a 2 year degree in an allied health profession with a bunch of options and am doing okay for myself.

some people just aren't very good at learning shit they don't want to like history and other boring shit like that. once they are in a college setting or a trade program they enjoy they can excel and still be up to par with the uni grads who can't find jobs with their shitty degrees.

Now I'm sitting here a decade out of high school, cutting myself alone at 2am with a box cutter browsing Jow Forums looking for any excuse to complain about my shit life to absolute strangers for some fake placebo form of emotional contentment.

Nahh you can always turn it around. My best friend barely passed hs. He dropped out of community college after like one semester. He spent like 4 years just smoking weed and working shit jobs. Got his shit together and studied for a bunch of IT certs. Worked at a bunch of call centers and help desk jobs for 2 years. Learned html, css and JS. Networked his ass off and did a bunch of freelance jobs. Now he works for a pretty big tech firm. The problem with people on here is that they quit when things get too hard. And then they blame other people for their failures which really just pushes them back even more.

depends on where you live, in any country with free or subsidised education its not the end by any stretch. in mine you can even fail university twice before they'll charge you fees for the next time.

I screwed up in my last year of secondary school. I was a late bloomer so spent all previous five years as a nerd who was a gud boi. Then I became pretty chad over a summer and all the cool kids wanted to hang out with me, next thing I know I'm skipping school, spending more time on sports/socialising than studying. I fucked up my end of year exams pretty badly, like my parents were freaked at me. But thankfully due to my socialising, one of my friends dads liked me and got me a job working with him in a brokerage, I went to university at night and weekends, moved to the UK branch of the firm for a few years and now earn a great salary and own my own home.

Your 20's are your years you're supposed to use to get a good job and build a career.

If you haven't gotten your shit together by 30, then you've made your bed and now its time to lie in it.

no. I started in my cunt with the lowest/med tier of education. Went to community college> applied sciences uni> uni. If you screw up in your uni(master) years that is when you are fucked.

>be 24 years old currently
>finished high school with mediocre grades
>currently home still looking for a job because uni didn't work out and I can't finance my fees for it anymore despite me wanting to study something else instead
>as a result I stopped caring
>need job to fuck off from home and settle down alone
>afraid I won't find a job
>depression makes me function subpar
so yeah, no matter how good you are you can still fail. there are people who never had it good and worked hard to have a fun life.
for me, my indecissiveness and my environment make me run on a hamster wheel. I don't seem to advance further in life.
