That really depends on where you live. Baptist Christianity is very much mainstream in Alabama or Mississippi. Catholicism is mainstream in Mexico. Just for some examples.

If God is able to prevent evil but not willing it does not mean that he's malevolent, it means that he wants the choice between good and evil to be an actual choice.
