What's the U.S like?

UK fag here, I really don't like my country anymore and am thinking of eventually moving to the states.

What's it like there? What should I know before going?

if you come here with a spiteful and rebellious attitude you'll fit right in. the dry wit won't get you very far, but the accent will put you at getting laid on easy mode.

>What's the U.S like?

Pretty much a third world country, see pic.

Attached: California.jpg (3888x2592, 651K)

you gotta drive all the time
t. australian whos currently in burgerland

Attached: the nisem.png (750x722, 963K)

they have trash workers rights

Dont move where there are a lot of nonwhites especially if you are white.

They have no respect for this country but also refuse to leave

>you gotta drive all the time
burger here. can confirm. everything is spread out. public transportation is only reliable in very large cities where you will also run into problems mentioned by this user

Depends on where you go and whether you actually want to live here or just tour around a bit. Here is a few general things though:
>there are fatasses and retards, but seeing as you are from the UK it shouldnt be that much of a shock
>guns are cool and shit like shootings arent nearly as wide spread as they are made out to be, in fact shootings as a whole have steadily gone downward in frequency and mostly involve gangs and suicides
>some places are total shitholes, if you see boarded up windows with graffiti everywhere you just stumbled into one
>a lot of big cities are giant memes if you dont have cash to burn
>most cities, towns, and everywhere between are built wide instead of tall, walking can be a pain so try to have some sort of transport be it a car or bike or whatever
>the american friendliness thing is a bit of a meme, on the west coast and midwest it is more accurate but on the east coast it is nothing at all like that
>in the case you stumble into a shithole dont look scared or confused, just keep going until you are out and dont look at anyone or dawdle around too long, you probably wont experience this though

Don't go the US, mate. It's just a coal burning, white-hating, marxist cesspit. Go to Poland, Russia, or Cape Town.

Your accent is too strong
You wont fit in here

i thought you couldnt just become a citizen

You haven't even heard his accent

>What should I know before going?
For an UK citizien this may not apply for you. Maybe there are easier ways.

As far as I know, best thing you can do:find a job. Yoi need your employer to sponsor you so you can apply for a working visa.
The higher skills/education you have, the easier it might get.
After that you can start working towards getting the green card (but it could take years)
The bureaucracy is very complicated, and a tiny mistake can lead you to be kicked out, so be prepared to spend a few thousands dollars on an immigration lawyer.

>It's just a coal burning, white-hating, marxist cesspit
>go to Cape Town
dude...

I've been told (by an american friend) that people loves accents.

You can't. It's a complicated and a stressful process. But it's also easier compared to most of countries.

fuck off we're full. his accent is too strong.

This is what our public transit looks like.

Attached: subway-dancers-nyc.jpg (2048x1365, 681K)

Shut the fuck up. He cant come here
>I've been told (by an american friend) that people loves accents.

Like i fuckin said you little bitch
Your
Accent is too fucking strong
Stay in ur god damn country hoe
This

Oh, and another thing: for the fucking love of god dont bring up politics. Seriously.

And a view of the outside.

user from middle europe here. i was thinking about moving to burgerland one day too. which state/city would you recommend?

Depends where in the country you move to. The coasts are strongly liberal, and the rest is strongly conservative. Most of the country is sparsely populated cities and farmland. The larger cities are full of pricks.

Why do you want to leave the UK? I dont really know what the UK is like, but I assume it is pretty similar to the US. Probably the biggest difference is that people here are much friendlier, I've heard they are rude in the UK.

Attached: 1538855408797.jpg (960x940, 371K)

Perfectomundo

Yeah I'll avoid them where i can

Yikes I guess taking the train isn't an option

Where do you recommend? I'm thinking of somewhere that has nice countryside and fairly friendly people.

Scoopity Poop Poopty Woopty

Attached: whiff.jpg (500x281, 21K)

nice trips
there are no passengers trains in most of the US

Howdy

I've lived in the UK my whole life. The weather sucks. The women are gross. The states have always seemed fun and interesting to me but maybe that's a meme.

Attached: 1538772390059.gif (354x534, 208K)

there are, but it's different arrangement. amtrak runs passenger trains, but union pacific owns all the tracks, and the freight gets priority usage of the tracks. passenger trains are lovely for leisurely travel, but only a fool would try to use them as regular transportation. they don't keep a reliable schedule like they do in other countries.

It's really not that bad. The showtime dancers only come on the train during peak tourist hours and you can just ignore them

Do you mean no passengers on the trains?
Or
There are no trains FOR passengers?

If the second one how do people that dont drive get around?

dude trust me the grass is not greener here. im an american and im going to to thailand to teach english. i suggest you get your TEFL and do the same. there's a lot of your fellow countrymen over there.

In that case the Midwest would probably be your best bet.
There are passenger trains here, but they are shit for regular transport.

It's a very large, very disparate country. Texas is larger than any western european country, and there are still 47 other states in the continental US
Protip: move somewhere with lots of whites

>you gotta drive all the time
You say that like it's a bad thing

Go to Maine or New Hampshire. New England is peak comfy with beautiful nature, the people in Maine are exceptionally nice too.

How do I get the TEFL and why do you think I should avoid the US?

>wanting to leave the UK for the US
you will regret it so much lol but go ahead OP

Thanks, I'll look into New Hampshire. I believe that's also quite close to New York if for whatever reason I decide to go there.

You're making me nervous lol, what's bad about the US that the UK doesn't suffer from?

Attached: 1538044976361.png (646x595, 362K)

You're basing your entire opinion of a country on Hollywood movies. Don't do that.

If you're an unsuccessful loser in the UK you're going to be an unsuccessful loser in the US but there will at least be sunlight coming through the cracks in the drapes

Where are you from in the UK and where would you move to in the US? How much money do you have?
You could live an extremely comfortable life in the US or you could be in for the worst decision of your life. It all depends.
Generally speaking, you will immediately notice the lack of education, the obesity, the lack of history, the ever expanding suburbs, the strip malls. There is almost no opportunity here and women are pure garbage.
There are fun things as well though: wilderness, guns, drugs, freedom, space.
But it's all a wash.
Have you visited before?

Americans: what's your opinion on the north east? The area around Boston, is that a comfy place to move?

When you get stabbed, you don't need to worry about the medical bills.

On the other hand, having a good insurance is better than rely on the NHS.

America is so different depending on where in the country you are that it's impossible to say. What state/region specifically are you planning on moving to? New England and California are essentially different countries.

>strip malls
lmao the fuck, those are dying out in droves user. Makes decent urban exploration though.
This is also pretty true.

Not him but i want to leave the UK too
>ugly women
>shit food
>shit weather
>houses are small, expensive, cramped, old with weird and stupid designs
>they are also expensive as fuck, UK has the highest property prices in the world, you get a lot more for your value in the US outside of big cities like NYC
>literally have to pay millions just to own some land or a decent sized property
>everything is more modern and bigger in the US
>stuff is somewhat cheaper but it can depend
>wages can be higher tho it depends on the state
>streets, roads are narrow as fuck everywhere, makes driving difficult
>no guns
>little nature and wilderness, no wild animals apart from foxes and shit, everything is built up except maybe in northern Scotland but who the fuck wants to live there
>pakis, arabs and muslims everywhere in big cities, at least niggers dont force their religion on you
>more privacy in the US and a lot more opportunities

Only downsides i found is obviously the healthcare and education, but i don't want to study there and i can just come home for healthcare.
And yes i visited a lot of times, i wouldn't want to move near any huge cities.

Posting the worst place in the us. Thats not that what the us is. That is what cuckforna is

>Americans: what's your opinion on the north east? The area around Boston, is that a comfy place to move?
New England in general is the wealthiest, safest, and most well-educated region of the country. Boston's northern suburbs like Lexington and Winchester are terrific, as are most of Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Maine.

Don't screw around, move to the big apple, New York City. You want the genuine American experience right? You won't need a car, fuck you won't be able to afford a car. And you won't be able to afford to live in Manhattan either, but just across the river is Queens and Brooklyn. They are full of darkies just like London so it won't feel too different. The bad rep that people are rude or mean is really a meme. People in New York aren't rude, they just don't have time to be anything. You will be surrounded by eight million people who don't give a fuck what you do or even if you live or die. It's paradise really.

Attached: nyc_bigapple_header.jpg (1280x450, 497K)

New Hampshire isn't very close to New York, it's closer to Boston, which is similar to New York and definitely the closest thing to a European city with how its laid out. NH is about a 4-5 hour trip to NY.
I like Boston, but it's nearly as expensive as New York now. New England is really comfy and if my whole family wasn't in NY and the pay wasn't better here, I'd 100% move there.
It gets too hot here during the summer.

>You want the genuine American experience right?
New York is not in any way the genuine American experience. It's a soulless cosmpolitan metropolis, it's just London or Paris with hispanics instead of Muslims.

New Hampshire is nice but it's not close to NYC at all.

I'm in Leicester, so most places in the US seem better by comparison. As for money and stuff thats not an issue as i mentioned I'd only consider doing this in the future

What's a strip mall?

Attached: 1536794725575.png (1600x908, 166K)

being genuine there is so much in the USA do A LOT of research before moving because the US is huge and so many areas are way different than others
>quiet country life
got it

>city life
>got it
>suburban with nearby city
yup
>giant mountains to adventure on
heck yeah

USA has a ton of option for living so choose wisely

It's terrible, I am surrounded by faggots and darkies.

The Northeast is arguably the best place in the country though it has its fair share of problems as well. Id like to go to Alaska though.
t. PAfag

Im Not a very liberal person so I think it would be good to avoid the west coast (maybe I'm wrong there) but I'm thinking somewhere in the mid west might be nice.

Attached: 1538273009413.jpg (850x1133, 250K)

tha states is great for option hate a state? move hate that state? move again the states differ widely from eachother and it's fucking great don't mean to be a sterotypical MURICA NUMBAH WONN type guy but it has a lot of option

Parts of Brooklyn are really nice and have a lot to do while not being so densely packed.
Bay Ridge and Carroll Gardens are both really clean and beautiful with nice restaurants, shops, and they're both 75%+ white.

Thanks user you said some stuff I forgot to mention. Where in the US have you visited was it nice there?

Attached: 1538257122748.jpg (1293x2000, 852K)

>What's a strip mall?
it's a chain of random adjacent stores. similar to a single block of downtown in a random city. usually some rich fuck owns the building and leases each portion of it for a retailer to drop their shit into it and try to sell junk. except it's not a downtown city block. you have to drive there on purpose.

Yeah it seems I got my states a bit confused there, but from what some of you say about US education that means I'll fit in perfectly.

Where are you in the country?

the U.S has the same problems as any other country in the western world except i suppose we don't have a sand nigger mayor and a bunch of sand niggers trawling the streets

you also have to factor in costs of living. i live in the midwest and can survive with about $1200 per month, but in commiefornia, that barely covers your rent

Yeah your right, this thread is part of my research

Attached: 1537431883373.jpg (615x409, 56K)

>but I'm thinking somewhere in the mid west might be nice.
I guess it depends on what you personally like. But again, the midwest is a massive region, encompassing everything from 95% black neighborhoods in chicago to 100% white 100% obese rural farm neighborhods in Iowa. If you're a foreigner, assuming you're european, I think your best bet is New England. Probably Maine or NH.

Seems a bit silly to cherrypick specific parts of the city and neighborhoods. For example I'm from the Chicago area, born in Evanston and grew up in Edgewater, but I'm not going to pretend like the whole area is a nice place to live.

Could I survive on minimum wage? At least for a while

Attached: 1536783082662.jpg (620x775, 86K)

I visited Boston, Florida, DC, NYC, and Pittsburgh
And yes i really enjoyed them. Obviously it wasn't perfect, there were some things i didn't like but generally it was good.
The hotels i stayed in were all better than the hotels i stayed in in the UK and they weren't that expensive
Customer services were great as well and people were generally helpful and nice.

Obviously there were things that i I didn't like, such as the whole tipping system in restaurants but at least the servers were really nice.

It really depends on where you live. I'd recommend you look up cost of living for each area and see if its possible. Where I live minimum wage is currently $13/hr, but will be going up to $15/hr in January, but it's also very expensive to live here.
Oh no doubt, but it is a bit disingenuous to act like the city is a crime filled dump. Especially since NY is one of the safest cities in America. It is filthy in Manhattan and loud, but Brooklyn is the city's largest population center and it can go from heavily urbanized to quaint blocks of brownstones and townhouses to industrial all in the span of a few avenues.

>cost of living
as you can see, the west coast and the northeast coast are expensive as fuck. the closer to center you go, the cheaper everything is

Attached: american-cost-of-living.jpg (620x479, 87K)

I live in Commiefornia and can tell you that the weather here is always nice and the girls are not that gross if you like ethnic women.

i live in one of the yellow splotches, by the way (1200/month)

>how do people that dont drive get around?
they dont. you either ride your bike or take an uber if you live in a city. If you live in the suburbs or countryside, you are stuck in your house.

Its not bad here, way more land to do stuff with and cheaper. A lot of states have different cultures so you can move out if you dont like it. Many states issues come from a few big cities determining the path for everyone else, like Jew York and Maryland. Everything is spread out so youll need good transit. If you live in the large cities, get a concealed carry as soon as you can. There will come a time when you need one. Best place for a bong like you would be a smaller city without the niggers and spics but arent hostile to foreigners.

Word of advice, behave. Cops here are way more serious than those loicense inspectors

I only met 3 UK chicks and they were stunning. Idk, I feel every country can claim ugly chicks because we are so warped on beauty and standards. I know lots of guys who thinks Canada is full of uglies (especially SK) but I like average looking nerdy chicks so idk.

Another thing to consider, what ethic make up are you looking for. Note the State of Utah.

Attached: 1.01_all_groups_2012.jpg (2200x1700, 1.1M)

Ooh. That's something I'll definitely miss, being able to get a train or 2 to get across the country

Can a foreigner get a concealed carry?
Can i visit a firing range if I'm just visiting?

Maybe its a grass is greener type situation, but I'm fairly sure britain has some of the ugliest women this side of the world.

Cities like Boston, NY, and Chicago all have subway systems. In NY its actually 24 hours a day, and there are many cross country rail lines that branch outward.
That map seems off, NJ and Long Island certainly have more Italians than Irish. And Utah is all Mormons, so they are pretty distinctly different than your modern day Englishman.
If I were this guy, I'd go to Maine. The minimum wage is higher and the cost of living isn't too bad. It's very comfy and safe

Do you drive? If you already do then adapting to American driving will not be too hard. In rural areas you will be able to afford to own and insure a humble used car (think Toyota Corolla). If you have never owned and driven a car before you should consider it, it really is at the heart of the American experience. The true freedom to go anywhere at any time. Go all the way and buy a pickup truck with a gun rack in the back window. Yee hah.

Move to Florida if you're going to the US, its really comfy. Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, but anywhere but Miami.
We have
>publix
>based weather, never cold but also comfy at the same time in winter just cold enough so that it doesnt snow and freeze your balls off
>disney
>etc

for explanation of why, see my post here

It's too big and diverse to give you an answer. There is no national norm/culture and even within smaller states you'll find massive differences in demographics and norms.

Given that you're a brig I'd say move to New England if you're able too because it's cold and white by US standards.

quizony.com/which-us-state-should-you-live-in/index.html

Attached: 1538236133801.jpg (707x748, 192K)

Everything will be expensive as fuck. You will get paid more, but have to spend much more on healthcare and (if you move to a decent area) housing.
There is no public transport; you'll have to drive everywhere except in NYC. There is no such thing as popping down to the corner store/Tesco local unless you live in the center of a major metropolis.
If you're lucky and you get a well-paying job, you may get 10 vacation days per year. This is absolutely not required of your employer, and you may only have 1-2 sick days, so prolonged illness will require taking vacation days.
It's common for well-paying jobs to have extended hours, say 8am-6pm, and you need to be available via email throughout the weekend. You can be fired at any time for any reason whatsoever with zero notice.
There is a good chance that your neighbors will legitimately believe the earth is 6000 years old. Your water might have lead or Legionnaire's disease in it, and depending on the state, your kids will be taught in school that evolution is "just a theory" and God created all the people and animals. They might die of measles because Sharon from the PTA thinks vaccines cause autism.
You will probably need to file for bankruptcy if you have a major health crisis and are not rich.

The good things: big houses, beautiful national parks, more take-home pay. You can have a gun, if you like that. Just be aware of what you're giving up for it.

t. burger who's lived in the US and the UK

I Can drive here but I've never had to drive for so many hours but it's not often i'd need to cross the country by car.
Pick up truck with the gun rack sounds great

New England definitely sounds good

Why is it that the average Brit chick looks like your pic or worse while Americans are a more Like my pic. Or have i truly been deceived.

Attached: 1538891579251.jpg (733x850, 125K)

>Can a foreigner get a concealed carry?
Absolutely not, in most states. You have to be a US citizen.

>Can i visit a firing range if I'm just visiting?
Yes. You'll need to look it up in advance, though, to find their beginners' class.

>tfw got alaska
Just stay away from the retards in the bible belt and the odds of you meeting those clowns are pretty slim, heard places like the Netherlands also have similar things.
The gun rack is a bit of a meme.
If you ask me, both tend to be slags, but Brits can fall back with an accent.

When you put it like that maybe i should just visit the US regularly and stay in England.

Those aren't average American chicks, they're cute college sluts. As I said earlier we're too diverse to make generalizations like 'average Amercian X'. That said, we have a lot of beautiful women in and around major cities.

>The gun rack is a bit of a meme
this. it's a holdover from 30 years ago. trucks really did have gun racks with loaded guns in them, but not anymore.

tfw british girls have no asses

Attached: 1537712249626.png (600x603, 714K)

>no asses
>implying that's bad

Its not even that, it just isnt really worth investing in anymore. Better to have it in the back seat or passenger seat or whatever. Unless you want to look like a turbo fudd I guess.

Some do but it's not that common with whites.
For anons who've been to both, where are nigs worse US or UK? Uk blacks can be alright but still seem to be very crime prone.

US blacks are much much worse because of slave breeding

not if you're in a city or a suburb with a functioning transport system
