do pull weighted ups it's pretty much the only exercise i do for back
4x12 or?
i usually do 3 sets of 5 reps weighted monday wednesday
friday i do high volume bodyweight no rep and set scheme for high volume day just crank out as many pull ups as you can with good form
Aha. I'm new to the gym (4th month now) and i really feel a bit lost when it comes to back exercises.
pull ups are all you need for good aesthetic back development, don't do dead lifts the risk v reward isn't worth it you could fuck up your back real bad and if you aren't a professional athlete it really isn't worth it because pull ups with some machine rows will do your back just fine without injury risk
I practice with a pull up machine, (me being 75kg i use 50 kg as a counter weight) and i have seen a bit of development. Are there any other workouts that could help w my muscle development?

Deadlifts are perfectly safe, and they're not really meant for aesthetics at all, just general strength and back health. Pullups do not replace the deadlift, or vice versa.
OP you should have some kind of hip hinge for your lower back. Weighted back extensions and romanians are great and you can use less weight than on the regular deadlift. Also yeah doing all kinds of rows will get you a juicy back.

do the pull up machine and mix in a few negatives (look it up its just the downward half of the lift, you jump to the top and slowly lower yourself) of chinups then do full chinups, then do pullups then do weighted pullups........try and get around 50 reps of pull ups no matter how many sets it takes you, start doing weighted when you can do 10 strict pull ups

I do starting strength, so deadlifts and power cleans hit the back. I'm still doing deadlifts every work out though, so I'm just doing power cleans to get the technique in. In addtion I do chins/pull ups, back extensions, barbell rows, face pulls. I guess other rows like T-bar rows and dumbbell rows are possible.
Almost all accessory exercises I do are for my back.
you need some heavy T bar rows
Pull-ups
Pull-ups machine
Barbell Rows
Dumbell Rows
Single Cable Rows
The first 3 are the base, heavy lift where you get stronger and bigger. In the last 2 you have to focus on the contraction for maximum gains.
