Apple is garbage, and so are laptops in general. PS4 actually has exclusives, and nvidia is overpriced; my RX 580 has taken every game I've thrown at it, and ran at 1080p 60fps. Don't know much about cars, but I just buy what runs. My shitty used car from 1994 is still going strong. HTC is the shit.

Thinkpads dont overheat, unless youre just not technologically sophisticated enough to clean the dust out of the vents every few years. Funnily enough, a lot of people really arent smart enough to do that, so Apple solved that issue by removing the vents

Look guy, its thermodynamically impossible for a thinkpad to have worse thermal issues than a macbook. I dont own either of those, so lets go by the numbers
If two computers are put under the exact same load, then the two main things that determine their thermals are the cooling solutions in each and the thermal power design (TDP) of the processors
Google tells me the new $2800 MacBook Pro has a 8650HK in it, which has a TDP of 45 watts. Meanwhile, x200s come in all shapes and sizes, but it looks like the most powerful one has a T9600, with a TDP of 35W.
If apple hasnt been struggling with being able to correctly cool the products they put out for the past decade, then maybe you could argue that the MacBook more than makes up for it with the ingenious design to passively cool the cpu with the flat aluminum chassis, but if you ask anyone whos repaired apple products for a living, they will unanimously tell you that they do not have good, or even acceptable, cooling solutions. The only reason retards like you are oblivious to these issues is because of the extreme forced obsolescence that apple likes to fuck its loyal customers with; by the time that iphone you bought starts to experience problems from shortcomings in R&D, youve already updated iOS, and theyve throttled your cpu, or entirely fuckin bricked your $800 phone because you decided you wanted to replace the cheapass screen. The usual play is to get HP or Dell laptops via CDW, have them shipped with your custom image, and purchase enterprise support contracts with whichever manufacturer you go with. Systems management on the Windows side is still painful. If your company is of any reasonable size, you need a whole team dedicated to nothing but keeping shit like SCCM and WSUS happy. For Macs it's a lot easier, just use Jamf for the most part. IBM estimated they were saving at least $600 per laptop in TCO, despite the much higher initial outlay.
