If I quit now I'll just get denied from every other job I apply for. The classic "why is there a gap in your resume???" Then again, they already all denied me employment, and that's why I work fast food.
At least I made it into management here at my Mcjob, so I have something to show off in order to move to something worth doing.

I have crippling depression and no real aims in life. Planning on becoming a substitute teacher with my 4-year and CTC cert and coasting along, probably get back into writing, reading, saving money, and tricking my life out bit by bit to get my self-esteem up.

teach yourself a growing skill, in a year from now you can get a job doing it, I dropped out of college and taught myself 3d, after like 3-4 years I was working at a top design studio

I no-call-no-showed to one of my two jobs just this week. I didn't need it, and just failing to fulfill my obligations towards it felt really great. I wish I could do the same for the other gig, but that's just being unrealistic. It's been fun having extra money though. I might do it again in a few months.

Yeah I found a lot of people just can't keep themself busy alone. Stoke of luck that it isn't the case for me.

I doubt it can get better. My job is actually pretty good. I get paid a lot and it's not stressful. My boredom and depression come from inside.
