Around december we did it. There was no official organization or anything, just threads in which people posted their wishlists and generous anons made wishes come true. It made me feel good inside to make a couple anons happy, and I have a bit of extra cash right now, so I figured I'd get an early start for a few folks. It's more of a december thing, but eh, I like being an early bird.

Nope, more of a 'toss your list out and see if anyone wants to be generous' type thing. The organization things are always messy it seems. This way is much simpler but also has the potential to be abused, though I didn't see any evidence of it except for one guy who got called on that shit pretty early.
