You can still flirt. Just ease into it. Don't greet the girl by calling her "beautiful" or "sexy" or any dumbass shit like that. Just be friendly with her. Talk. Judge how she responds to you during the conversation. You'll notice if she's interested by things like her maintaining eye contact, being genuinely amused by your jokes, moving slightly closer to you the more you talk or initiating physical contact.
