I said The United States because after successfully revolutionizing and gaining independence they were left alone after the fact. (1812 in my mind doesn't count because the British achieved their goals in the northern territories and got back to fighting France).

As a NEET I support social democracy with a strong welfare state. In capitalism if you don't work you go homeless. In socialism you get nothing and in communism sent to a gulag. In social democracy the NEET can live a happy comfy welfare lifestyle. Where will the money come from? Robots, self driving cars and 3d printers will do most work.
