I'm calling some bullshit here. I heard that it simply doesn't matter what size the tits are, it's the concentration of milk ducts that matter. An A-cup and a D-cup could feasibly produce the same amount of milk. It's just that fat tits have more volume overall, and thus the milk ducts have a lower "concentration" because everything's so spread out.
Furthermore babies have an easier time latching onto a more rounded breast than a relatively flat one, so you may have a point there; if a woman's breasts are so big and large that the area around the nipple is basically flat again, then I could see babies having difficulty.

Can't remember the page for the abstract/study but it's not the milk ducts that determine milk production but rather the lactocytes, which are part of that system but have been shown to be less active in women who are heavily overweight. Possibly due to hormonal changes, or possibly due to overall health issues.
More research is needed but the study found that milk production was indeed lower in fatter women than in average weight women, even adjusting for other factors known to impact lactation.

You will see some change in your nipples, however. They won't be the drastic dark brown you see in pregnant women, but they will start to turn brown-ish, depending on your genetics.
