In the spirit of Halloween, I made this little thing on my phone in the Locrian scale which, in music theory, is one of the spookiest scales out there. It starts with an ascending and descending run of the scale to give you a feel of it and then it plays.

Also made this a couple months ago on my phone too but I think it's still spooky enough to post. Wanted to create the feeling of wandering in ancient, dilapidated ruins overrun with vines and vegetation, kinda like pic related. It also has some really weird chords.

Your album is really good, man. Very high quality production, my personal favs were Power Lich 5000 and Live from the Shadow Realm. The only thing I wished you had done was experimented more with effects and layering with your vocals to make it extra spooky, but I think they're already great as it is :)

Writing robots what is your writing routine like? I find I can only write at night since there's too many distractions during the day.

I get really pumped about my own ideas for a short period of time then write about a page or two.

Then I proof read and fix all my mistakes. This usually takes place late at night.

I usually just force myself to write, and then ideas gradually start coming. What I start out with is usually almost entirely revised or cut out by the time I finish editing. Sometimes I can do a decent first draft if an idea comes to me out of the blue. Usually happens in the shower.

I waited until Halloween was over to put this out.

I get everything I need done for the day done, and then I sit down and start writing. Just force myself to write a few sentences until I'm in the zone. Usually edit those first few sentences completely.
