I have a folder of old podcasts that file name differs from the "title" and when I put them on my phone it goes by title and are out of order and it triggers my autism.

How do I fix this?

There's literally no way unless I sit there and copy pasta the file name to the title?

I just want chronically instead of alphabetically, is that so much to ask for?

Use a player like VLC that can show actual folders and files instead of the gay iTunes way of just dumping everything in a big pile and sorting by metadata. If you're using and iPhone then just kys

I have VLC, I have all the files in a folder on my desktop. The file name and title are different and when I put it on my phone it uses the title instead of the file name.

my bad, VLC does show the title instead of the name and I don't know if you can make it not do that.. there is some player that can show the file names, but I can't think of one.. alternatively you could make a playlist of the podcasts in the right order and load that in VLC or another player that uses playlists.. most android media players unfortunately do things the new / bad way

I'll try downloading a couple apps first. Trying the VLC app right now. I'm just lazy when it comes to work like that

Open them in a file manager instead of an audio player program
I'm sure there's some way to automatically change all the titles but I don't know of one of the top of my head
