Do you believe we live multiple lives?
Do you believe we live multiple lives?
I don't live any lives
Why would we? Because you need hope that you'll get a redo? This is all you get. You fucked up and it's over.
I prefer to believe in alternate realities, somewhere on the a different timeline i'm not a Neet but a sucessful person, with a GF and a good job. truly happy...
No, it's just one life on repeat for all of eternity.
I find it hard to believe God would create a cruel existence and not subject its creatures to it for all eternity.
I already have lived two lives. The first half of my life is completely different than it is right now.
We are eternal. All this pain is an illusion.

I mean, if you reincarnate but don't actually remember anything, is it really reincarnation? What's the difference between that and someone dying and another person being born in its place? Really activates my almonds 2bh
Yes two, this one and another eternal one spent in paradise or hell.
No.
It's all just coping with our fear of death.
No. This is your one chance. Don't waste it.
Yeah, the "you" experiences every possible life before becoming God. Then does God things for a while. And then does it again because why the fuck not.
>Why would we?
Because our consciousness is eternal. It won't be like "we" are in this life though -- just the observer that is us observing will continue. Like.. our personality here is influenced by biology and shit -- shit like that won't transfer.

In my opinion there is no point in thinking about it. Even if you did have a new life you wouldn't remember this one since you don't remember any past lives, without your memories wouldn't you just be another person?
The only certainty is that you have your current one, this also applies to any kind of afterlife belief.
I believe we've all been here before, the universe has been here before the big bang eventually leads into the big crunch to continue in an endless cycle. At least that's what I hope happens...
Sure, as in we reincarnate as different people each time. Memories are erased, but I believe personality carries over.
>so it's you but it's not actually you
It's not you you retard.
People often attribute reincarnation with keeping the memories of a previous life.
Yes we do, I am living the exact same life for the third time now
Wont live to see 2019
Wont live to play the new smash bros
What do you mean? It's the part of you that observes. Like when you're in a dream. Sometimes you aren't you and you're just observing through someone/thing else.
I know you didn't even bother watching that video or you just don't have any trust in people.
>Kids remembering past lives
>Information getting verified
>Birthmarks corresponding to fatal wounds of the person they remembered being
What? Then this is my first life and everyone else who already reincarnated is just joking with me and pretending they don't know about it?
First of all, only weirdos give a fuck about these things
second of all, we can't prove it - ever
>we can't prove it - ever
We can't prove it to others, but it can be proven to the lucky people who personally experience what I mentioned up here
unironically this

>our personality here is influenced by biology and shit -- shit like that won't transfer.
That seems really pointless, the observer wouldn't be me at all then.
jesus, i hope we don't
Nah, dude. You're not getting it. Just work on meditating and you'll understand.
Is it true that meditation is something you can do with literally any task? Not just breathing focus exercises?
I don't understand the question.
Yes?
I've heard that you can direct your mind, as people train to do with breathing exercises, with other things that are more typical or mundane for a person to do. I was wondering if that were true and how you would do something like that.
>with other things that are more typical or mundane for a person to do
Like, for example, spacing out/clearing your mind while washing the dishes or putting widgets together on an assembly line?
I suppose so, I was listening to a psychologist who said that he enters a meditative state when he engages with his clients. I wonder if that fits what meditation is.
Does he do that because he does not really listen to them?
One time when thinking about it I had this vision of someone who looked like the female version of me, then I kept having dreams I was her. I'm not sure if it's real or just a result of being a girly weeb but the dreams feel real and explain a lot.
