You guys ever do Ritalin?

I'm 31. I guess I did have some risk factors; while not being a full blown alcoholic, I have drank a hell of a lot over the years. And I'm average weight but my diet has always been terrible - lots of salt and sugar and fat.
Still, it isn't something that should happen to someone of my age. Especially considering I'm a non-smoker. Sometime it's just bad luck. Life can be very cruel!

Might run in your family. Dad got his first stroke at my age and now I'm just waiting for mine to come around the corner, hopefully not while I'm driving though.

No, but I take adderall from time to time. Really helps with studying and general getting shit done. I always clean my room and organize shit when I take it, which I would never do sober

Recretionally lol. LA means that it lasts a long time, so it doesn't hit as hard and right when you take it like Ritalin Immediate-Release. Ritalin LA lasts like 24 hours for me lol.

the high wasn't worth the comedown IMO, benzedrex is legal and much better so I don't bother with ritalin anymore

I've taken like a full dose before and also like half a tablet. Both fucked me up completely the only difference was the time it took to come down. But then again I get super jittery after an espresso

It made me psychotic from sleep deprivation, 100mg+ per day and on day five I was having delusions of persecution. I switched to dexedrine and 25mg of dextroamphetamine IR is way more manageable (less jittery, more focused, better physical sensations) than XR shitalin, even at the same dose.

Thought about it for a while. Almost got a scrip after seeing a psych about it but I declined because I didn't want to become dependent on some shitty pill. I was going to take it for school, ended up passing anyway despite not taking them but it was pretty tough.

Life would probably be easier if I did but then I'd only be successful inasmuch as I have access to a scrip, so I still don't deem it worthy.

Actually very few people take Ritalin just for being recreational. What they do is snort it. They take one small Immediate Release and snort it, but you can also fucking do it by taking larger amounts.

No, not for me. For some people though it may happen, specially if they keep on doing it without fucking stopping it lol. What you're gonna get is fucking incredible euphoria and happiness. Listening to music while on it feels like you're in Heaven.

It's funny. I used to have sleep deprivation in the sense that I would stay awake for like fucking 24 hours in a row, but then I would sleep like a baby for 12 hours and up I went the next day full of energy. It was fucking awesome.

There IS NO distinction. ADHD doesn't fucking exist. This fucking drug is a cognitive enhancer, like stronger coffee, if you will. Some people like it and need it to function, some don't. It's not a disease, there is no medical use for it. It's a cognitive enhancer and that's about fucking it.

That happened to me when I started using a SSRI (escitalopram) for OCD and lasted for some weeks but sadly it went away.

I absolutely agree that ADHD does not exist and about the cognitive enhancer point. However, I think there is a difference between functional and recreational use. To which degree it is blurry I do not know.

Yeah, there are both uses, they are different, but it's kinda blurry but not too much. People who use it for the former will usually be all the time they are on that drug doing something particularly productive or that requires particular attention, while those in the latter will party, listen to music/masturbate etc.
