I was in love with Jessica from Contagion for a long time, after I was playing one day and someone pointed out that "she's so beautiful" in the voice chat and I started to have feelings for her. Who wouldn't want a blonde freckled girl to help them survive the zombie apocalypse? I thought about her at night a lot, sometimes i microwaved my pillowcase so it would be warm and i could imagine myself cuddling her, reassuring her it would be okay. I thought about her a lot although I hated when people would play her because they would always get her hurt or killed despite my best attempts to keep her safe. Eventually I met a woman from the game though who played as her and I finally had a friend I could trust to play as Jessica however after a while it started to feel weird to think about my friend and the imaginary character because I had feelings for the character not her so I slowly fell out of love with Jessica. At least I got a friend out of it which is nice.
