Keep it clean, tidy, and well organized.

This. Cleaning feels good.

nice art on walls, not shitty mass produced posters

Turn it into an anime

Have Bailey Jay playing all day just dif porn vids, get some lava lamps and bad dragon dildos maybe a suction cup dildo in bathroom, ziplock bag with TP in it for pooping in room if no bathroom also keep canned food supply and piss bottles at hand

just copy the room in ((pic above))

That really depends on what you like. For me a comfortable room is one that's practically empty and only has the bare necessities.

I live in a hotel room so I've gotten used to the uncomfy, boring decor.

Fill your room with cuddly sleepy anime girls
make sure to have lots of blankets
sweaters, hoodies, and pajamas also help
bookshelves with lots of books and boardgames
heavy snow outside

get a cat and have him sleep right next to you.

Never use overhead artificial lighting. Always use lamps.

you saying pic above tells me you're not really a resident, are you?

I got a lightbulb with a remote dimmer from Ikea. Makes it nice and bright on gloomy afternoons and nice and low at night.

holy hell that is peak comfort

I only said "((pic above))" because Jow Forums said my comment wasn't original. You're supposed to open the picture before reading it.

Get an aquarium. Nothing too big or flamboyant, just a nice cute little tank with a couple tiny fish to look at. They accent an otherwise boring normal room and make the room super comfy when the aquarium is on while the room is dark.

Also since fucking when was the maximum file size 2 mb? I swear it was 5 mb last week.

I'd get an aquarium, but it's too much work. Any advice to lower the amount maintenance time required to keep it clean, and not murder my fish?

This but i enjoyed the most after gathering a lot of trash, cum marks on the carpet, and my cd collection got turned over by the cat
reorganizing, and putting everything on its place feels good my man, also clean youre room like with soap, and try and make youre sheets combine with your walls or something

Wax warmers. Post your favorite smell, go buy it, and use it.

Build something like the ant farms on the Ants Canada youtube channel. Those things are interesting as fuck

but the smell tho

My mother uses those stupid things. Untuck your dick from your asshole and have some dignity.

I bought some of those girly fairy lights and strung 'em through my desk supports and around a lamp
they're pretty and comfy

NEETs can't afford aquariums

I own three aquariums and they are pretty easy. People tend to exaggerate what you need to do for it, but it all depends on how big and what type of aquarium you want. I have done tons of different types of aquarium set ups in the past and right now the format that works the best for me is either barebottom (or a very fine layer of sand) and only a couple plants planted in terracotta pots. Don't buy plants that need fertilizers and shit like that, they're a waste of time and money and it'll take years of practice until they look nice.
My best tips are:
>craigslist and yard sales have cheap tanks
>typical pet store fish suck, go to smaller businesses as they'd likely breed their own fish
>don't be feel bad about not being able to keep some plants alive, just try until your find stuff that works, i myself am only able to keep a handful of them from dying (anubias, pothos, swords, elodea, anacharis, most pond plants, and watersprite are the only plants i can keep alive)
>fuck co2 and shit like that, it adds hours more maintenance to stuff
>if you want to save some shekels, only keep non-tropical fish (so no heaters), there's lots of north american and other coldwater species that look great (notable mentions: sunfish, dojo loaches, darters, fancy goldfish, madtoms, channel catfish, etc), and they're also super cheap and you can probably even catch them from your local lake
>fish are not very fun pets, i actually only keep gambusia right now, my current pets are aquatic frogs and newts; much more fun than fish and you can actually gain their trust and touch them and stuff
>lighting is expensive, use reptile heat lamps
>substrate is annoying to deal with and either go bare bottom or use fine sand
>most filters are also annoying to deal with, go with a sponge filter, mechanical filters and other filters jew you out by having to buy carbon and shit every week
>DO WATER CHANGES OFTEN
no smell if you do it right friendo

Wooden walls, lighting and general arrangement of the items in the room are pretty comfortable but the desk and bed look a bit too utilitarian/overbearing for me, mostly the frame of them. Still looks a hell of a lot better than my room though

Why do you live in a hotel room? Sounds dreamy

Spoken like someone who truly enjoys his own nut dairy.

buy some nice candles and hang a dream catcher

Says who? dumb dummy
