You just pull your body up, dumbass

Lay pull downs helped me
Also start with a resistance band

lol if you cant do a pullup here is the best thing to do:
jump up to the ending position like your pic.
Then... SLOWLY lower yourself down. Like the slower the better. Repeat.
When you can't do any more, dead hang. Pullups rely on a lot of grip strength.

If you don't have the mental fortitude to do that...well...enjoy staying a laughingstock.

Lose weight LOL

I can do three, but right after the 3rd rep my arms go full
>LET GO OR IMMA FUCKING RIP SOMETHING IN ME FUCKING TRICEP, THINK OF THE BENCH PR'S YOULL LOSE!
mode

1. If your not lean then lose weight, makes a big difference.
2. After doing 3 do your best and do another one, even if you have shit form. Keep going at this, try adding 1-2 reps per week.
3. After you've exhausted yourself transition to the lat pulldown machine and do drop sets.
4. Do other bb compounds and build strength. (Optional)

Are you a girl, or recovering from a com?

Lose weight and/or do negatives

make sure you do it the right way
shouldnt be completely vertical, retract shoulderblades and puff your chest up a bit

OP confirmed fatfuck? I went from 0 pullups to being able to do 2-3 without much effort in less than one year of doing basic retail work as a hungry skeleton, well before I started actually exercising.

Here’s a secret op, do negatives. Jump into the pull up and slowly let yourself down. Approx 10 sec holds at the top.
I was like you 5 months ago and now I do 5x10 with a 5 sec hold at the top

do negatives you weak faggot

>can bench 2 pl8
>can't do 2 pull up
Fkms

I did this starting out. But for me after my set of jumping and lowering I went straight to lat pull down on a easier weight for 20!reos, repeat

Do it

lose weight

>isometric holds (hold yourself like op pic related for as long as you can)
>do different variations (neutral, overhand, underhand grips, etc)
>lat pull downs
>planks
>do proper form (full extensions locked elbows)
>do pull ups early in your workout in order to do proper form

I'm a fatass and can do 5. Maybe work back more?

Jeff has a good video about pull ups. I wasnt engaging my core or legs so i had a lot of energy bleed. Once i started tensing everything it helped a lot. I'm still pretty shit at them but not embarassingly by normie standards

Use a resistance band, it helps just in the lower part of the pull up which may be the hardest for you.

I can do 6 in a row at 96 kg. Fuck, can't wait to lose this weight, it's gonna be easy as fuck with -15 kg.

I can do 14 in a set at 5’10” 175lb and my lifts are literally 0.8/1.6/2/2.5 The secret is to train from child.

Lose weight.
Cheat them first then do the full ROM when you get the strength.
Then there is the usual pull downs and negatives.

Do this, it worked for me:
