I thought "grasp of" was more like "understanding of" and "domain" more like "proficiency", but the latter might just be a direct translation from Spanish now that I think about it

Well, Spanish is more prevalent than Icelandic so it's probably not that surprising that i know some Spanish and you no Icelandic.

Technically it does, just like bitch means female dog. Anyway I believe it means dick only in Spain so it might still have the other meaning in Latin American Spanish
