I've got DSP for the last 3 years or so, literal autism bux with severe depression and paranoia / anxiety. I had to reapply twice because they claimed there was never enough evidence despite meeting all the criteria I also had my psychiatrist and GP both write letters saying I'm not fit for work in the foreseeable future, it's really hard, excessively even to get DSP just for being an autismo though. I've had a few trips to the psych ward which might have helped

You should try and get better work. It'll only mentally cripple you eventually unless you're that much of a trooper. When I worked those kind of hours I really was living to work than working to live.

Well. My mummy did most of it but you talk to your GP about it and he can fill out the forms which are then sent to Centrelink, but probably not to answer your other question

Certainly not easily, you have to prove and have psychiatrists / gp's confirm that you're unfit for work, the main reason I was deemed unfit for work is because I'm mentally unstable and always depressed with the autism aspect making me unable to deal with people very well and I also struggle with non social things, tasks that most people would consider simple, ie I can't really butter bread or food clothes properly no matter how many times ive been shown.

I forgot to mention in the above post too, on the criteria there's a thing about being medicated, I was taking various different medications for a prolonged period of time and it made no improvement to my situation, they always try to make you do that first before approving you. That aside just make sure your GP / psych writes a letter and if they decline you make sure you query as to why then reapply and prove without a doubt that their query is fixed
