Where were you when the late 2006 shift into Zoomer culture happened?
Where were you when the late 2006 shift into Zoomer culture happened?
the people who make these images are nostalgiafag data miners
You can make these type of images with literally any year if you look long enough for examples of change
I could give two shits about the past. If you reminisce and yearn for the past or identify completely towards a political party youre a fucking moron and I hate you.
>but was revived by soulja boy in 2007
YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
eh I'd say it was more 2006-2007. In fact you could extend this period starting 2004-2007
basically started around the 04 pres elections and it ended or changed for the next decade in 2007
I knew it was over when Saturday morning stopped having watchable cartoons and all that Ben 10 shit flooded Cartoon Network
it's true that there was a transition into the world we have today around 06/07. I always blamed the economy crashing that changed it but op makes some points.
I want to go back. Tbh SENPAI
The world ended in 2012.
>You have been muted for 2 seconds
2019 will be the best year of this decade, mark my fucking words.
Man I must say Wrath of the Dragon was a good fucking movie
>I could give two shits about the past
Really kind words user, most people couldn't give one shit.
Yeah but some transitions were more noticeable than others. 2001 for instance was another big transition year you had Dubya as president, 9/11, Internet recovered from the dot com bubble and now integrated into our lives, 6th gen consoles, pop music got a bit edgier after 9/11
The world ended in 2012.
>You have been muted for two seconds.
No it ended in 2006

I was playing some sweet HL2 Episode 1. I was so excited to see where the story would go next.
The episodic release of story games sure was popular, I'll bet they'll make 9 more episodes!
Go Gordon!
Construction was the beginning of the end for RuneScape. After that, every single skill was designed to be a money sink just to keep the game's economy afloat.
Durial321 was the prophet of the end times.
Hunter came after construction, but it was also 2006 so the point still stands I guess.
>*Shitty steel drum riff*
SOULJA BOI TELL EM
WHY ME CRANK DAT WHY ME ROLL
dreaming about having an ipod, and bashing my fellow 4th grade gen z'ers (1995 im GenZ right??) for watching hannah montana
Wtf does the 2006 midterms have to do with this you spastic
I strongly disagree. I didn't realize it at the time, but it's plain to see now that 06/07 were the definitive years when the very last surviving remnants of pre-2000 pop culture truly died and faded overnight into irrelevance.
>negro music
Shit was actually good negro music though.
>Inb4 nostalgia fag!
I didn't start listening to hip hop until 2011. 10s era proto-trap and modern trap are niggerish cancers devoid of any creative merit whatsoever, but the negro music in OP's pic is very much worthwhile artistically.
Freshman in college. I would add something on here about the Office. That show was extremely pivotal from the mid to late 2000s. I hate nostalgia as a 30 year old boomer, I really romanticize this era.
Mid 2000s was marked by Chamillionaire and 50 Cent and Jay-Z. Popular rap was as bad as it is now.
The quality of 50 Cent and Jay-Z's output was largely solid throughout the majority of their respective careers, and generic forgettable trash like Chamillionaire can be best stylistically defined as proto-trap.
What about Artists like Kendrick Lamar, Denzel Curry, Joey Badass, Killer Mike, and other black rappers that have artistic merit too them. I didn't bring up and white rappers like El-P or Aesop Rock but also curious on your opinion of them.
spending time on newgrounds
mid 2000's were golden age i'm regretting i didn't learn flash somehow
