Honestly its not too different from the West, except the people feel more down to earth and traditionalistic, but as opposed to typical poltard's view, there are lot of gay prides and stuff and majority of population is really tolerant. I heard some phrase about my nation a while ago that describes the mentality perfectly "we are the most tolerant but least acceptive people on the planet". I think you guys are really not giving the girls in your countries a chance. I am not an Easterner, I am Greek, but I have experience with Eastern girls, from Poland and the Baltics to Russian and Ukraine, my wife is Ukrainian, the previous ones from when I was younger and had summer flings with tourists. Can go there without a visa for 30 days now, just fly to the international airport and have medical insurance (can get it at the airport too so can just fly and stay there). You can also get a visa really easily. it's very cheap for Lithuanians/Poles.

People are very shallow. The whole "every X is an Y because anecdotal evidence" is a big meme, but it's based on truth. It's not as bad as some people pretend it is, but it's not a 1 in a 100000 occurrence. Generally people who are shallow like that rush relationships and rush everything to quickly get what they want. Depends on exactly what they get, but usually if they don't receive it in a couple months to a year, it's not worth it. For example someone wants a trip to some sunny place. so she dates a guy to get it. She wont waste her time for more than a few months on it. Has to move? Will push for marriage or some other shit and get angry if you refuse or want to take it slow.
