But not everybody is putting on a show, Some of what they say and do is genuine.

I'm sure they believe that they're being genuine and honest, but they just can't help it: it's in their nature to virtue signal to increase their social standing while simultaneously holding hypocritical perceptions of the world. The difference between positivity and pretty lies is truth. Positive thinking that's based in self-delusion and lies is just gullibility and an emotional breakdown waiting to happen. Ever notice how most outspoken positive thinkers seem to be attractive Chads and Stacies? Because they're pretty much the only ones who can go through life in the 21st century genuinely believing that everything will work out because they're the only ones who it consistently does work out for.

But how can we nail down truth of the matter, when the future is still undecided? If we don't turn a creative and expectative eye towards life, we will never find anything there.

This is where the line blurs for me.

We often find what we're looking for-- bad things included. We can shape our own reality and the reality of others around us with our inner thoughts.
