Serious question: Can you OD in multi-vitamins? Because I just swallowed half a bottle of them for fun.
Serious question: Can you OD in multi-vitamins? Because I just swallowed half a bottle of them for fun
Yes. It is called hypervitaminosis. Which are the two dominant vitamins?
Yes and it can be extremely painful. Call 911 or something.

Also this is what happens when you do it, be careful.
You can get poisoning from too much of a certain vitamin, but a single incident is unlikely to kill you, probably. Seriously, you couldn't google this?
Didn't some of the early polar explorers die EXTREMELY gruesome deaths because they ate the livers of polar animals which had very high concentrations of some vitamin?
Like their teeth and skin began to fall off and they went blind and their internal organs started bleeding or something like that. Fuck that, I ain't ever eating vitamins because of that.
how long ago exactly? go fucking vomit it all out
nice job op, you fucking retard
Yep polar bear liver got toxic amounts of vitamin A. But that's no reason to be afraid of multivitamins and other supplements. Then again if you are that paranoid those packages and bottles do have percentage values of how much is there of recommended daily dose in each pill.
Vitamin C for example is non-issue since it dissolves to water if you get too much of it you are just gonna piss it out.
Check the embedded jewtube video above. Some vitamins are fat-soluble.
Oh fuck. This might be it for me then, boys. The bottle didn't seem to have any two stated as dominant
Thanks for the advice, I wouldn't have thought of this. I vomited.
No need for name calling
You can die of anything. It is the dose, not the substance, that kills you.
But usually vitamin supplements (at least here in Europe) are sold in bottles small enough to not pose danger even if you ate all of them at once, unless you have underlying health problems.
>The bottle didn't seem to have any two stated as dominant
The two with the highest concentration in mg.
You won't die from eating a vitamin bottle. You won't feel well possibly. Usually your body just filters out the excess though. It takes a long time of exposure to too many vitamins to cause damage or impairment.
No, you summer visitor.
This is what can happen:

Most likely one of these two:

>Thanks for the advice, I wouldn't have thought of this. I vomited.
You're welcome fren.
But in all seriousness i have no clue how much that will actually help because some dissolve very fast some take longer to digest.
What kind were they?
>because some dissolve very fast some take longer to digest
Usual initial intake is between 15 and 25 min, with effects manifesting initially at 40 min for psychotropic meds, and days/weeks to vitamins. He should still see a doc and give the bottle to them.
Why should I give them the bottle?
Vitiman A and Copper I think
you can get liver damage from too much vitamin A
Anything serious? I won't do it again so it's only a one time overdose.
any reason you're not using google?
>Why should I give them the bottle?
This shows the physician the amounts and types of vits you took. You are not going to feel anything right away, but hypervitaminosis A is a thing.

Bone damage pretty much. Better see a doc, just to be sure.
'Cause if these are my last moments I'd rather spend it with you guys.
it can calcify your liver and weaken your bones, it can also cause serious bloating, i would consider not just popping them like gummy bears
Stop baiting you anime loving faggot. If you actually did this you would be on google.
I have never seen a multi vitamin that has copper as one of the highest. It is often equal to others you were just trying to pick two of the shit ones to convince people. If they never brought up Vitamin A as above your stupid ass would probably have said Vitamin C.
Fuck outta here
Nu-uh, didn't make it up. I'm pretty sure the bottle says copper is the highest. It says 500 beside copper and 400 beside vitamim a. I don't know what the number means though, it has a symbol beside it that's a ug but the u has a line going down from the left side. I don't know how to google it because that u isn't on my keyboard.
or you could just take a picture of the bottle you imbecile
That u is a mu, so it's probsblh micrograms. Just post a picture of the bottle. Also Akko's pussy smells like warm dogshit.
Listen you mong, post a picture of the bottle because your dumb ass can post anime pics but can't clearly relate the total amount of chemicals you've imbued. 500 ugs what? Per dose? How many doses did you take?
How do function without basic understanding of measures and ratios?
You know what, on second thought don't post the bottle. We might be better off without your retarded anime posting ass
It's a "mu".

In general a vitamin overdose is not harmful.
BUT in the case of vitamin a it is. You should see a doctor as soon as possible and tell them you swallowed a bottle of multivitamin pills.
See. typically an overdosis of 50-100 of recommended daily intake is harmful. So you have to swallow a whole bottle. But in the case of vitamin A an overdosis of 5x daily intake is harmful. You're significant above that.
Akko's pussy smells magical.
The dosage makes the poison, user. I'm not sure what the limit is for multivitamins, but it's better safe than sorry. Call poison control, I'm pretty sure it's free.
hypervitaminosis A.
Hypercalcemia.
you'll live, should still want to go to a doctor
Your kidney shuts down
You're gonna have the Shanghai shits bud
Vitamin A should be fine. You'll have side-effects that may mirror accutane if you want to get some info about how Vitamin A might affect you, accutane side-effects are a good place to start since accutane is a vitamin A derivative.
copper is fine. don't go by mg in assessing the most lethal vitamin, go by the % daily value. some vitamins aren't lethal in excess, some are.
for vitamin A excess, drink lots of water, avoid substances that will put extra strain on the liver, and buy some good ass chapstick. you'll thank me later. you should be back to normal in about 4-7 days i'm guessing, assuming you had a significant dose of vitamin A to begin with. it's also possible that it won't be too bad, since vitamin A is relatively slowly absorbed.
going to need a dose amount, OP. is the dosage for the facts listed for 1 pill or possibly 2?
You might turn orange from vitamin A. But there ain't room for two orange men in murica.
well he claims to have eaten half the bottle, assuming he vomited at least part of it in time, guessing the bottle has either 60 or 100 pills/gummies/whatever you're looking at around 30% of it getting absorbed. i imagine those values are per pill
