here's another, these were a while back though
I just tried to make a tilapia and it was horrible and its eyes creeped me out and I swallowed a bone and it bled all over my plate.
Who is the second plate for? Also is that weeb curry? Lastly, people on /ck/ don't cook, people on Jow Forums don't go to the gym, people on /fa/ dress retarded, etc.
yikes how did you try cooking it? ive never worked with whole fish before
my gf. we cooked together. fair point i guess i just feel more at home on this board
>dumb larping gook posts his weeb food AGAIN
Will you ever stop you inbred mongrel?
oh and no it was cheese donkatsu so still weeb food. was pretty tasty
did i do this before? i forget since im usually drunk when posting my bad
Damn user bad times but nice trips
Made this last week. A rare vegetarian dish.
Does putting stuff into oven, wait, turn it over and more waiting count as cooking?
looks nice, wht is it?
sure, as long as its not frozen food
I feel like the golden ratio is that a man should weigh 2x what his GF does and eat 4x more. You're doing it very wrong with the equal serving sizes.
So it doesn't count then. I'll leave this thread.
Maybe it's not you. The other guy is a huge faggot. Proceed and my apologies.
im a lanklet and only weight 1.5 as much but yeah i do need to eat more. i ha another cutlet after that but i agree
lol sorry user no please post it, i dont look down on frozen food i love it but idk if id consider it cooking
i post drinking threads often and some people call me a weeb because i use chopsticks but im korean what can i do
I tried to fry it in a pay with a little bit of butter, I believe I under cooked it.
That looks tasty! Are those perodis? Or whatever those things are called.
Even though I cook for a living, I'm pretty mediocre at it.
thats what puts me off on trying to cook fish even though i like it a lot. i know you can google times online but its so inconsistent with your fire/heat. better luck next time user
what kind of cuisine?
Roasted broccoli (almost til it's burnt, that's how I like it) mixed with gouda cheese, gnocchi and sauteed cherry tomatoes. Super easy. Trader Joe's sells the cheesy gnocchi. You just throw it in a pan with a little oil and maybe some chicken stock
Roast guinea pig mmmmmmmmmm
sounds very tasty roasting vegetables almost never fails. also trader joes is pretty based and cheaper than i thought
Yeah I don't go there enough but they have some great value items. Same goes for Sprouts. Better than TJ's and not as pricey as Whole Foods
same here. pic rel is my fav dessert from there its only like 6-7 dollars and tastes great. sprouts is awesome too one opened near me and i stop by when i can
You forgot your picture my man
One depressing meal coming right up.
That looks good. How do you make it? You just throw all that stuff in a pan at once? Doesn't the gnocci need to be boiled for a few minutes? Do you have to put oil in the pan?
Looks like an artists representation of my life.
Thanks! That particular brand of gnocchi comes cooked and frozen. You just throw it in a pan with a small amount of hot oil. I always add chicken stock too and just cook the excess moisture out. I threw the cherry tomatoes in the pan at the same time as the gnocchi and threw the broccoli in a little while later to absorb some juice and cheese sauce. A little bit of onion and garlic always helps too.
fuck lol sorry
hungry man? no the box seems different
been a while since i took that picture, but i think it was an empty hungry man container filled with microwave chicken-like nuggets and alfredo sauce
Thanks, how do you know how to time it? I'd have the gnocci in and then add the broccoli too soon and it would be on fire, then i'd put cheese in and it would make a mess in the pan and burn.
The answer is usually just practice but this particular brand is foolproof. It comes with slices of cheese and gnocchi in the same bag. The cheese melts really easily and the gnocchi thaws quickly too. I've never overcooked it.
Might snag one of these for Thanksgiving. I always spend so much time on the dinner I never have time to make any dessert.
i made ground beef and vegetable soup last night.
throw everything into a pot and simmer for thirty minutes. i'd show you pictures but i dont have photoshoots with fud
here's some chicken i fried this past summer. turned out super nice and crispy
nice trips. i havent had a traditional thanksgiving dinner in forever since parents live overseas and i live with a bunch of intl students. kinda miss it desu
soup if perfecct for the winter ive only ever made italian wedding ages ago but it was much nicer than the canned ones
It's overrated but I do enjoy cooking especially if I'm getting drunk and THanksgiving is a great excuse to do both.
do people really eat like this every day? Just makes me realize how low effort my life is. Fucking plain bread, potatoes boiled in their skins, milk and cereal
yeah im not a huge fan of turkey but it does mesh so well with the rest of the spread. hope you enjoy thanksgiving this year as well user, cheers
some do but i dont. i spend 99% of the year eating ham sandwiches and cook a few times
Thanks user. Happy holidays.
It gets really easy with practice. I can make a tasty meat and vegetable dish in 15 minutes. No frills but filling and nutritious. Boiled potatoes are GOAT btw
I do 4 out of 7 times of the week. I like making big hearty meals!
Mashed potatoes
Mac n cheese
Corn
Steak or chicken depending
Rolls
Or sometimes I will make a nice potato soup with any or all meats I find.
Sometimes I make ramen and chicken with eggs. Stuff like that. I might make pic related in an hour or so. We should have more threads like this.
What sauce did you put on that pork? I am very interested in this dish. What is the salad made of? It looks so good
here's another one. not the most perfect but it turned out really tasty
yeah its nice seeing comfy meals. what kind of topping you usually put on your burgers user?
it was a korean version donkatsu sauce using roux and i forget what else but here's a vid of the kind i used:
youtube.com
and the salad was just chopped up iceberg lettuce and while it should have been thinner my knife skills werent up to it. yeah it was great, a lot of work to fry it at home but turned out tasty
Damn I wish that vid was in english thanks for responding though
ah my bad i could have sworn i saw english subs on it but if you google korean tonkatsu sauce itll likely come up
Alright cool thanks. I will look it up
BUUURRRP. Truly a luxury.
here's some rice porridge i make pretty often when either me or my roommates get sick. hits the spot
I made some salmon soup but I already ate it :/
Oh sorry I was a busy bee! Just meat and cheese and maybe some Mac on it. Sorry again.
chef boyardi ravioli was popping tonight
how do you make that?
