I can understand it coming from women with them being shallow vapid whores and all but average/tall guys shouldn't be so abusive towards fellow bros.I understand much of it is banter but some seem so incensed(sometimes with good reason) that it seems we take it too far.

There's plenty of girls that like shorter guys but the majority are just responding to natural instincts. Same thing as why most guys like big boobs.
Not sure why other guys hate on shorter dudes but my guess is that it's the same thing, heredity forces men to be competitive which is probably why we engage in competitive sports more often etc.
A byproduct of that competitiveness is that we feel the need to belittle other men around us to make ourselves feel more attractive.
I used to work in bars and I can tell you for a fact that men become nastier to each other when women are around.

honestly I dont care much about the height even though I'm the tallest in my circle.
From an evolutionary standpoint height = strength and as such smaller guys are often seen as weak & easy targets.
Also in a real fight height is much more important than muscles.
I am skinny tall but I can easily beat up smaller buff guys due to my range advantage.
No it's weight. A 10 pound advantage in weight decides a fight statistically outside of the highest skill levels of combat sports.

Disagree. It's all about frame. A 5'5 dude with large shoulders big arms and huge neck is way more intimidating than a 6'5 frail lanket with narrow shoulders and faggy skelly arms. I would rather fight the lanket than the buffed manlet.
