happy post thanksgiving. taking another stab at a fire red nuzlock since the last time was a disaster. hoping to beat the game this time around. going to release starter so i got the pokedex and ran into a pidgey on route 1. nickname needed!

my day has been decent thanks a bit of brainfog but i don't have much work anyway, these nuzlocke threads are pretty comfy.
well ratpat lasted a total of 0 battles before getting crit by a pidgey while trying to run away. i ran into a caterpie in viridian forest so nickname needed for this guy. lucked out since another rat or a weedle would have made brock way harder
brainfog getting any better as the days going? hopefully you can rest up this weekend then man

another evolution for cutiepie! my first run i was blown away at evolving pokemon and i loved the caterpie line because it showed me two evolutions back to back but now its just like premature ejaculation where nothing good comes afterwards

yeah there are a few i like but most of its just because of how they look rather than how useful they are
it was a few weeks back so i dont remember exactly but i fought the rival right around the time before fighting koga and charizard just one shot each of my team members

had a very lucky fight with brock. i probably should have done some more grinding but its was awful beating up on lvl 3 rats for 30 exp so i took a little bit of a risk. geodude hardened on its first and only turn and cutiepie knocked it out with two confusions. then it poison powedered onyx before switching immediately to pudge. onyx binded it and tackled it but those were the only hits it landed as i had pudge spam sand attack. all in all pretty risky but it paid off since we can now move forward

yeah i just really like how invested i get into pokemon i normally wouldnt give a second glance desu. i also like trying new mons out and realizing some of them are kickass

caught a zubat in mt moon! name please. ill be grabbing some more pokeballs just in case. i dont need to catch anything else in mt moon but i want a few balls in case i run into a shiny which is the only reason i would not follow the nuzlocke rules. unikely to happen but i did run into a shiny exeggcute in a run i did a few weeks back of a romhack which was the first wild shiny i ever encountered

yeah i was so excited to run into one i couldnt believe it. checked to see if the romhack had higher shiny rates but it didnt so it was just a stroke of luck
pudge evolved during mt moon and first reply gets to decide whether i pick dome or helix fossil even though it wont really matter since i dont plan on using legendaries or snorlax or lapras or anything i dont catch myself

forgot about the rival fight on the bridge and had cutiepie go out as the starter against piedgeotto. i tried to poison and switch out to pudge like the brock fight but a gust crit me so it's RIP to cutiepie...i feel bad but i have to admit im not too shaken from this loss despite her playing a crucial role in the first gym fight since we have another poison type. now i feel bad sorry cutiepie..

ran into an oddish after two pidgeys on the route north of cerulean. i was crossing my fingers i didnt run into an abra because i hate using mons that i cant evolve fully and it paid off. name please!

thanks for the name! on second thought using a randomizer may have been a more interesting run? im not sure my team looks very similar to the same team i had during the run from a few weeks back since theres little variety but i also feel like a randomizer may make things too easy if i run across a strong mon early

I just completed a super cool Pokemon rom hack called Pokemon Gaia. It's a FireRed rom hack, but it has Pokemon from every gen and it has mega evolutions. I suggest you play it. You need to patch the rom with a fire red rom, which is not too hard.

I remember how to patch them unless its different now. Fire red to me has the most aesthetically pleasing look so that's no problem, mega evolutions in it? Hmm I think I'll start that today
