A female friend (who's been outspoken against hormonal birth control in the past) recently mentioned to me how hormone based birth control is responsible for western women behaving slutty, not taking responsibility for their actions, acting neurotic etc. Since the majority takes some form of hormonal birth control, so she claims, this shaped our culture and makes normie women who don't even take birth control adapt to the behavior of the masses.
Whatya think, is this horse shit? It's plausible imho, but didn't find much to back this up.
It's true, birth control fucks with the normal hormonal cycle of the woman modifying the behavior, while at the same time makes people less responsible and the hormones can't be filtered by common waste water purification (makes the frogs gay)

It's a bit of a stretch, but kind of. Birth control might affect the mood - a lot of women report being more moody, or depressed, or such things while on birth control. About slutty behaviour: women act slutty because they want to, and birth control allows them to without consequences in terms of pregnancy. Birth control was one of the basis of the sexual revolution. So in a way yes, birth control is the "cause" of all those things, but it's mostly because it allowed women to do what they wanted to do, not because it changes them to do those things. Actually birth control lowers the libido by a fair bit, normally. Slutty behaviour is allowed by the pill, but it's not caused by the pill. Women just like fucking.
Also estrogen in drinking water is there mostly due to onions and animal waste, very little of it is because of the pill.
