Jow Forums is unique, even if the post quality isn't entirely.
Its a smaller board - Thanks to flags, everyone here seems to know each other, which has created a more friendly board, something most boards don´t have
Jow Forums was always going to be a mix of other boards - lets not forget originally this place was just meant to be Jow Forumss trashcan, so anything more is an improvement.
But its that mix that makes us different. Being able to access anime, shitposts, international threads, risk, and comfy chats without having to go to another board is actually really nice.
Sure Cirnoposters go a bit too far, gayposters and furfags are a bit cancerous, and sometimes Jow Forums steals the GETs, but if they were gone we'd only find more to whine about.

They are because people feel comfortable hiding behind a nameless ID. Namefagging on boards is punishable with bans, not sure why it doesn't happen often here, but it got so bad that people can namefag and avatarfag as much as they want without risking a single ban.

The avatarfags do get banned though, thats the thing, they keep trying sure but they do get banned

Pro-Tip: Namefags are still anonymous, you can drop your name at any moment you feel like and just blend in with the crowd.
The whole issue with avatar fags, name fags, and trip fags always suffers from confirmation bias since you're UNABLE to tell them apart when they're blending in with the crowd.
