>I didn't get the job because I have no social media
WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
I didn't get the job because I have no social media
wot job m8 ?dfsdsf
Social media coordinator for Dave and busters.
That's the problem on most schools and university too. You can't do shit if you are not on normiebook because everybody shares everything there
My boss literally forced me to get a facebook account, so I 'stay connected'
>Has no social media
>Doesn't get job as Social Media Coordinator
Does this actually come as a surprise to you?
I don't have social media in any form. I don't even have cable or wifi. I use my data 100% of the time and don't feel like wasting it with social media. I know exactly what this feel is. What baffles me is that shit like stalking your employees online isn't illegal, but you could probably still bring it up in court and make it a case for infringing on personal liberties and the 1st Amendment. Mention how France made it illegal to keep check on employees outside of work. You could really weave that in there if you're clever enough. If your employer really needs to see social media, you don't need to be working for them, anyways. That's some 1984 shit.
read the unibomber manifesto and take the tedpill
normies are 1 step from being chipped and herded like cattle inside a social credit system
get out while you still can
>That's the problem on most schools and university too. You can't do shit if you are not on normiebook because everybody shares everything there
Calling BS on this.
Been in university twice (2008-2011) and (2015-2017) and both times they used a private specific school application for students to communicate about school shit, and not using social media was because most people just didnt want to because they wanted their facebook private.

Are you really not noticing this was not OP responding?
>be almost 30
>drilled into my head as a child to NEVER post your personal information online
>have never made a social media account linking my IRL name or photo
>in the rare cases I do use social media I used my online handles with meme pictures and never share that info with IRL people
>normies think I'm crazy when they ask me for my social media and I say I have none
God dan it. I hope to god you are not OP.
we live in an era user. social media is like a po box back in the 80's
31 here
back in the 90s and early 2000s my parents use to be scared of the internet, they thought it was all criminals, scammers and neckbeards and wouldn't ever let me buy anything, and especially not ever use credit cards online.
fast-forward to today and im the one telling my parents to stop posting so much of their personal shit online and i keep telling them to use paypal
I'm 25 and in the same situation. How do people feel comfortable having shit like LinkedIn?
same here lol it wasnt until recently i started using credit online, i just had to
neckbeard wasn't even a term in the 90s lmao
yeah they were called pedophiles and they didnt have neckbeards they were well groomed
>they were well groomed
you'd know :^)
Neckbeard wasn't a term, but the internet in the 1990s and early 2000s all the normies thought the internet was full of guys like from the south park episode of WoW back in 2006.
Neckbeard wasn't even a term in 2006, but its the perfect description of what normies thought internet users were in the 90s/early 2000s.
have you seen to catch a predator. They all cared about their hygiene
that user is retarded, they all had pedofork glasses like pic related
Neckbeard wasn't a term because even the losers back then cared for their hygiene. What you're most likely thinking of are what they called "nerds" and "geeks" as a derogatory name. Or just plain ol' losers.
Also, the fact you're doubting me proves that you must be of a very young age.
Don't think all normies online like they are now was normal, it only became normal in the recent decade.
Ha, look at this guy and laugh.
He used to not be so ugly, like still not great but cute a little
I'm 31 and in the same boat. I got home internet relatively late, in very early 04, and even then it was drummed into me to never post a picture of your face or anything that can link back to you online. What baffles me is doing that stuff is actively encouraged these days and you're considered weird if you don't have a social media account with a ton of shit to link to you.
BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ME TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT THE FUCK
>applied to hotel as front desk rep
>was told they "couldnt tell what kind of person i was" with no social media to check
u g h fucking NORMIES RUIN EVERYTHING WANT US ALL ON THE ZUCK JEW TEET auiegfpiwegfpiwuegfpiwuef
like an almost normal, nerdy young little boy who needed a confidence boost or an older brother :/
wow what could have been
