Watching WestWorld season 2 right now. And before I get the jew this jew that Hollywood propaganda movies, shows etc all ran by Jews! I know and if you haven't yet ALL anons need to be pirating jew Hollywood shows and movies, I use KODI app and watch every movie (even ones in theaters) for free, its hard to not watch all of the entertaining shit that Joo Hollywood puts out so if youre going to watch itt, Stick it to the jew and pirate that shit! Kodi is free and easy as fuck to download and use, you can even use it on your phone for fucks sake! watch live tv for free and any movie or show, and I mean ANY.
So anyways, back to the actual subject..what do you goys think about the theory that we live in a simulation created by a super intelligent being/beings? Elon Musk thinks we are, or at least he said there is a very very high probability that we are, I myself am sold on the theory that we are. After the double slit experiment and more and more data coming out by the day, its almost impossible to think that we aren't living in some controlled chaos simulation that a very superior intelligent being or alien race created. I would like to think its similar to the movie the Matrix or more likely it started out like the show WestWorld and just advanced from there. I don't know I'm pretty drunk right now... what do you goys think?
the simulation hypothesis is a bunch of "we theorists can propose bullshit stuff to get more moneys from the gurrmint" bullshit
physics disagrees with the simulation hypothesis, regardless of what pop-sci douches say
Chase Lee
In an infinite timeline everything that is possible has already happened and infinite number of times. Is an artificial universe possible? Probably not by humans, but if humans give birth to AI and they grow in intelligence, then it seems possible that they could find a reason to create one. If they create one then there would be an infinite number of them.
Alexander Martin
>chances are 0/1 Can you post some evidence debunking it please. I mean i can see why some scientist would want to nerd out and make some money doing it, but there has been some interesting reseatch showing that there is a pattern like code tjhrough out the fabric of space, a code that is very similar to the code that is written in computer language.
Leo Howard
Im sure most of you have probably heard this debate but its pretty interesting and the points that they discuss make me believe it may be possible. Its super lomg, but really activates mty almonds.
Mason Perez
>I mean i can see why some scientist would want to nerd out and make some money doing it, but there has been some interesting reseatch showing that there is a pattern like code tjhrough out the fabric of space, a code that is very similar to the code that is written in computer language. total nonsense
all i have to cite is occam's razor. logic dictates that fanciful theories fail in the face of equivalent theories that are simple and elegant
Wow what a great way to totally not debate or discuss something. Just shows how unintelligent you are. Occams razor is like pleading the 5th to a crime, it s just a loser scientist admitting they have zero evidence and lack imagination. what a really boring person. I feel for you user.
how bout you supply some evidence for "we're living in a simulation brah"
protip: you can't
Lincoln Collins
the "dude...... simulation..... dude.... lmao" theory is the dumbest weedblazeit shit i've ever heard.
Nicholas Cox
>No
Jason Thomas
In ten years we certainly will. That is the entire NWO plan. A literal new world. It's not conspiracy theory - DARPA front companies (Silicon Valley companies) like google have been proclaiming it to the press in a low key mannor so that there's no big fuss because nobody notices but also so they cannot be caught red handed doing this in secret. Looking it up is easy.
just because i can't "prove" that it's not true there's a perfect english-style teapot in perfect heliocentric orbit at some distance midway between here and mars does not make the teapot true
go fucking learn something brainlet
Benjamin Clark
> natural laws run on simple universal math yet seem fine tuned for creating life > bizarre coincidences and spiritual forces seem to be at work in my life > equations are probabilistic; computation simplified by using probability waves interacting and thus only need to compute my lived experience (ie conditional probability distribution of my future given my present and the universe probability distribution) meaning the computational complexity of my brain (ie a simulation) is far far less than that of the entire universe > observed world full of increasing nber of simulations and software spaces > born at the exact time software simulations become possible > hexagon on Saturn
What creates consciousness? What sustains the existence of the universe? inb4 it just is so I don't have to answer lol
A simulation explains why my life is as fucked up as it is, and why the voice in my head gives me such good advice sometimes...advice I ignore at my own peril
> brainlet No u, at least recognize that meaningful questions exist in the areas of epistemology and ontology. A Russel's teapot would be "we are all npcs in a weeaboo's video game". No one's saying that. It's clear that reality cannot possibly work the way it is observed to work...something must have created it and sustains it. Mathematical structures and relationships describe reality but are not the reality itself. Or are you claiming they are?
Contrary to what Bolstrom says, the simulation hypothesis requires a computationalist theory of mind and is thus false.
Robert Cruz
"before I get the jew"
There is not one character in that show with whom anyone would ever give two shits about.
Prove me wrong OP.
Jason Fisher
> The time cube is controlled opposition > THE TIME CUBE IS CONTROLLED OPPOSITION > THE FUCKING TIME CUBE WEBSITE IS FUCKING CONTROLLED OPPOSITION TO DISCREDIT THE REALITY OF THE HEXAGON MATRIX OF THE DEMIURGE > FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK > FUCKING REEEEEEEEE
So im guessing you feel the same way about Christianity and all other religions of creation?
Brayden Flores
I've seen the sinusoidal light waves and heard the word. It's scary and weird and like nothing you've experienced in this life. Also very, very loud. WUBBA LUBBA DUB DUB
Connor Moore
almost 100%
Christopher Scott
? Huh?? What are you trying to say? Im was talking about jews running Hollywood.was just saying to boycott there movie anf shows tp use Kodi app or any other apps that allow you to pirate amd stream shit for free. I use Kodi that's all I was saying, tard.
Jason Diaz
>A simulation explains why my life is as fucked up as it is This is why I think I'm living in a simulation too. I started thinking maybe older people live further in the future than younger people and they communicate to us from the future even if it's a few split seconds or from death idk.
Anthony Parker
I'm 50/50 about this, I guess it could explain a lot of things.
Jason Harris
We aren't in a simulation. No system is perfect, there would be noticible flaws.
This. Still convinced we are in a simulation. Speed of light, quantum physics, etc.
Jeremiah Perez
Checked, not sure what you mean by time
Nolan Morales
Honestly I think we do live in the matrix or something
My whole life I've felt there's something wrong with the world in general always felt like I'm in some kind of dream that I'm constantly trying to wake up from
Wyatt Nelson
>why my life is as fucked up as it is
Even if the universe is a simulation that is probably not why your life sucks. The simulation is like an MMORPG it has rules and it has a continuity. You either spawned in a shitty spot or you're simply not playing the game correctly. Learn the rules and try new things but continuing to play the game the same way when you keep losing won't get you anywhere.
Colton Flores
Well...
What if our physical bodies brains etc do exist we're just plugged in
What if people aren't programs they're just plugged in to a program. Ultimately what one perceives as real is just electrical signals fed to the brain
Jayden Nguyen
People on DMT report the same thing and hell most religions are based on this idea. Intelligent design is nothing more than simulation theory with magic instead of science fiction.
Brody Howard
Here's a question for you anons
Now lets assume for a minute we are actually plugged into a simulation our bodies are just in pods jacked in somewhere If it was possible to be freed from the simulation would you want to be freed or would you stay in the simulation? Especially if say the real world was a wasteland
Jaxon Fisher
>T. The Architect
Colton Mitchell
Idk I just think its likely that if were in a simulation our bodies/minds are real we're just plugged in similar to the matrix
I don't think that we ourselves are just computer programs I think there is likely another place to wake up to
Lucas Thompson
Show me the real world.
Asher Richardson
> you're simply not playing the game correctly. Thanks, user. Captain Obvious suppository received.
Lucas Wright
The moment you provide me a way to open the debug console i will believe we are in a simulation.
Ayden Mitchell
It would feel memory and change
Hudson Cruz
its like whether or not you believe in god. it ultimately doesn't matter, your beliefs do not affect the outcome of your life, and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. if there is a god, it will make no difference whether you subscribe to his existence, and if we live in a simulation, it doesn't matter whether you consider it true or false, absolute rules exist in this universe and everything adheres to scientific scrutiny and metric. so why fucking worry about it?
So...we get the shittiest timeline that we don't suicide in? And we're also immortal? Works for me though I want what I want and I'll get it too.
Jason Hall
The main thing stopping me from believing the simulation theory is mathematical concepts like irrational numbers could not be programmed into a simulated universe. I'm open to the theory though.
Noah Williams
Explain in more detail
Oliver Russell
checked and shivered
Chase Morris
A figure like pi for example is an unending string of digits. If pi doesn't end then it cannot be possible for a computer to simulate it. Alternatively if it does have a finite length we have yet to find, then that means a computer could theoretically simulate it.
Benjamin Thompson
The stars never change their relative positions to each other as we "orbit" the Sun. The belt of Orion always looks the same. Something fucky going on there. Langly mentions something like this in X Files s11e02.
Ayden Nelson
Things like mathematics could possibly be more fundamental truths,,, Like the pi ratio could hold its truth in all possible universes...
But to the OP's question, we could live in a simulation, So use that knowledge to change the world somehow. If you can't use that knowledge to change world some how, it is just philosophy. To be fair, as a proposed physical reality of the universe, it is as useful as Big Bang cosmology, which is to say, not that useful at all...
Carson Cooper
I think the important question is does it matter?
If we're simulated, and the world around us is simulated, then we're exactly as real as the world around us. It's hard to see the consequence of a simulation have any real meaning (except maybe in theoretical and applied physics).
If only our experience is simulated, then I want you to ask yourself how that is any different from our reality being entirely simulated.
Ian Jackson
Yes this is totally Ass-blaster master Simulator 3D
Brandon Ortiz
Normal computers may be not, quantum computers you better hold on to your ass
Anthony Hernandez
>he doesn't know about the GNOSIS Seek my friend and you shall set yourself free
4 chan doesnt reealize when a marketing co pushes d&c to promote a program.
Justin Fisher
lucid dreams are just as real as waking reality so who is to say this is not just a longer dream.
Charles Gutierrez
>simple and elegant newtonian physics and similar college level physics are pretty elegant but when you get down to the nitty gritty details its a bunch of black magic fuckery >suddenly a wild dot of infinite energy appears and becomes the universe >spooky action at a distance >time dilation tell me this is elegant
Henry King
100% just not so much a computer, just God/Energy something so perfect, plain and boring.. has to entertain itself somehow.. and here you are.
Caleb Clark
Thinking of the world as a simulation helps to define theories and how they'd turn out.
You are basically perceiving the outter world subjectively, adding plenty of biases. The more subjective perceptions/realities fit each other, the more probable it is to be objectively true.
Math is our tool is calculate probability, but is limited to known factors. So, we are basically apes with a very very limited understanding of things trying to gather objective truths and combining them to imagine the bigger picture
It is absolutely impossible to comprehend reality, but advancements based on those 'truths' help us to collect more informations, leading to further development.
Logan Davis
given how strange my life has been since I started taking notice, I would say yes.
Blake Butler
100% but people have to understand god being simulating something and the retarded amebas that as the top scientists are a lot different.
So you really don’t know anything and think Jew tricks called physics are real nice really moving forward the human race there Chris Chan
Matthew Cook
It's even possible that nothing is real and you are just this tiny bit of consciousness being stimulated with manipulated informations, which can completely change at any time
James Cruz
God is a simulation created by our own consicious. We created "God"
