A couple of them are in their final year of high school and are readying themselves for their final exams.

I was in fourth grade pumped full of adderall because ADHD. I think Pokemon Emerald came out around that time and that's all I ever played at the time. I just learned script in 3rd grade and I'd still practice it because it was fun. My teacher was a homosexual and didn't like me so I prank called him a few times.

Used to be the case, not now though. You'd start school aged 5 in year (grade) 1, work through to primary 5, then move on to secondary year 1 up to secondary 5, or 7 if you're going in to further education.

Now we just count from when they start, so year one secondary is called year six, and the oldest kids are in year 12.

I remember beating pokemon blue version on new years when I was 6 in 2000. I had gotten the game that previous Christmas and beat it after that year of playing. I could not read when I got it and I could read when I beat it. I like to say that Pokemon taught me to read.

High school senior. Still quiet, still reclusive, still kind of awkward, very depressed. Hung out with the anime and Magic The Gathering crowd in the mornings and evenings before the buses came.
