I usually do sets of pushups every day. Used to be in the multiple hundreds but stopped for 6 months and my chest became very weak. Now I've been back at it for two months and managed to get my daily amount back up to 50 a day. in sets of 12/7/12/7/5/4/4. Along with all of my other workouts that I do in a session, and all of my other muscles are stronger then my chest.

I like doing around 25 at a time. I usually do at least a few before I shower and after/ during gym. Max is around 50.

If I really push myself I can do 84 in one set, but I can do a lot more if I break it down into sets. I normally do 8 sets of 25

I would imagine I lost muscle. I was 145 in sophomore year, I'm about 155 now at age 22. I'm only 5'9".

Never gonna make it.

Take my advice, getting fit is 10% exercise, and 90% food.
You just need to spend 5-10 minutes a day doing push ups to get fit.
