I usually do sets of pushups every day. Used to be in the multiple hundreds but stopped for 6 months and my chest became very weak. Now I've been back at it for two months and managed to get my daily amount back up to 50 a day. in sets of 12/7/12/7/5/4/4. Along with all of my other workouts that I do in a session, and all of my other muscles are stronger then my chest.
>as a kid when they tested our fitness in gym class i got to 70 pushups before the teacher stopped counting, more than twice anyone elses score >now i can only do 21 im literally not even fat, ive gained about 10 pounds total since then. fuck my life, what happened?
Luke Morris
I like doing around 25 at a time. I usually do at least a few before I shower and after/ during gym. Max is around 50.
I would imagine I lost muscle. I was 145 in sophomore year, I'm about 155 now at age 22. I'm only 5'9".

I'll do however many I roll

You couldn't even do 2? Fucking weaklet
Kevin Johnson
You have to do a lot more than just push ups to get ripped, friendo.
Samuel Collins
Got up to 20. Which I suppose is good considering I haven't done any workout at all since high school PE classes.

>30 well that was kinda disappointing. I was hoping I could do a little more.
Shouldn't be surprised though I guess, I've never worked out and have been NEETing for years now. A good start I guess, could be a lot worse.
what matters is that you something no matter how little it is. that's how you move mountains: by moving one rock at a time :)

I donno, I wanna get buff but do Push Ups really help much there? I mean you can only do Push Ups for like 5 or max 10 mins straight.. Wouldn't going to the gym have a much higher benefit there? Not sure if I would even see result after half a year of doing Push Ups at home.
Adrian Myers
You were doing them with improper form, and fooling yourself all along. Thats all, loser
Jack Adams
i feel like most people in this thread are. if they kept their back straight, elbows pointing back, and went down all the way, they wouldn't be able to do nearly as many.

>I wanna get buff but do Push Ups really help much there? Never gonna make it.

Take my advice, getting fit is 10% exercise, and 90% food. You just need to spend 5-10 minutes a day doing push ups to get fit.
Elijah Torres
If I had that body I would stop wearing clothes
Nicholas Perez
14. gonna practise some more.
Ryan James
listen to this advice. I've gained way more muscle through diet than exercise. You need to eat leafy greens, seafood, liver, and celery.
