They have to pretend that "niceness," when used in pursuit of a romantic relationship, is somehow illegitimate or insincere. To women, it's totally impossible that a guy could be generally nice and also PARTICULARLY nice to the women he's romantically interested in. This seems like logical transactional behavior, but women have to condemn it in order to deflect attention from the double standard they themselves have established.

Being labelled nice or bad has nothing to do with whether the person is actually bad. You can two boys of same age and as they grow one becomes more good looking. He garners attention, confidence and validation from women simply for being that way. As such he will become more confident and be seen as a 'bad by' when it fact hes no better than his best friend yet women wont judge him that way because hes unattractive.

Bad boys can do wrong. They can be abusive or quiet and theyll always be seen as the leader. However the nice guys may actually be more assertive and have more skills but no one will listen to him.
