I wouldn't say that. there's lots of good things in this life. videogames, movies, alcohol, drugs if you have connections and can afford them. if you've just turned 18 I would focus on coming up with a solid career plan to secure a steady source of income when you're older. i don't want to be pessimistic but it's going to be really difficult. if you've never had a romantic partner and feel rejected by society everything is going to be harder than it is for a regular person. you're going to have a hard time focusing on class (if you choose to go to college) and learning stuff at work. even making friends is going to be difficult, people distrust older males who are permanently single, and without friends you can't network, which is how people get the really good jobs...
i guess what I'm saying is, your life might not get better, but if you make the right moves you can prevent it from getting worse, and if everything goes right you might even secure a comfortable existence for yourself so you can enjoy your hobbies in peace

nah I did try. I worked hard in my 20s and bought my own flat. most people my age still rent and have no savings. if I lose my job or something i could move in with my parents and rent it out.
really the only thing I regret is not getting a college degree, i was working 60-70 hours a week sometimes and just didn't have the time. But I don't think that's the reason women aren't interested, I never even get to the point where they ask me about my education or career so that's not an issue. I'm just ugly.
