burnt out uni student here, my last week has been:

Yesterday i almost met a girl from tinder at a night club though so it's looking up and I'm going to go to my last week of lectures starting monday

I lead a pretty simple neet life. I would like to try and get back into nightwalking or lifting some weights I've got but it's just finding the motivation to do so. I used to watch the 10pm news on the laptop while gaming and using a mini-exercise bike pedal thing.

I wish that I could reset my sleep schedule. Every time I try to go to be early, I can't fall asleep no matter how long I lie there. Every time I try to pull an "all-dayer: I fall asleep way before it's time.

At least you must be in good shape. I'm actually striving for a similar life style. I'm planning to no-life it up; nothing but going to work and going to the gym. No video games.

my meal of choice used to be dinner but i felt it was making me fat/lowering my metabolism, so i switched to breakfast. you don't have digestive issues from eating late at night/right before bed?

i have been playing for 3 years and 7 months inconsistently. i hope i don't take any long breaks again.

i know there is a psychological component as to why you're allowing yourself to stay in this cycle but i encourage you to look into proper sleep hygiene techniques. if you have desire to improve your sleep schedule and put in the effort you will see results. good luck finding a job (:

I tried f.lux once. I absolutely hate the way it makes the screen look, and it didn't seem to help.

I've been there. Sleep deprivation ain't no joke. You should make sure that you get 8 hours a night. There's been studies that show that it reduces your iq in the long term. Nothing that you're doing is worth your health.

Set off for work at just gone 8
Get to work at 8:30ish, grab a coffee from the machine and catch up with the team
8:45-12:30ish is company time, juggling warehouse staff and hauliers
Inhale sandwich, yoghurt and apple, going through RSS feeds and the news from my phone
13:15ish to 17:15ish is also company time
Drive home, arrive at about 17:45
Put food in the oven, eat
Watch TV or shitpost until about 22:00
Get to sleep at about 23:00ish I think?

New Year's resolutions are to set clear boundaries at work and at home: like I'm entitled to 1hr break at work, but due to the nature of the job that's not always possible. Ditto at home, setting firm bedtime/getting-up times.
