I braze my meats in a little oil before I put it in the oven and add a little garlic and a sliced up sweet potato.

Don't do the sweet potato in your. That's a personal thing for mine. When I make karjalan for parties I just do the basic recipe. Make sure to eat it on smashed potatoes, though. That's what makes it so great. It's a big hit with people at parties because it basic but seemingly exotic to Americans. Ran out when I brought it to my company's Christmas pot luck last year (I had a little card next to the crock pots with the "stew" and the potatoes explaining what it was and how to eat it. People loved it.)

got depressed ate chinese food for breakfast
got depressed again 30 minutes later and ate a whole bag of chips in mere minutes (2,000 calories) told myself it was just gonna be a few and devoured it instead
was feeling sick and full so i slept right after that even though i had just woken up not long ago
woke up even more depressed and miserable than before feeling really sick and forced myself to gorge on even more chinese food than i did before
sitting here on the verge of vomiting now probably going back to bed
i don't want to be awake and i didn't enjoy any of the food, i didn't even taste any of it i just engulfed it down like an animal
