Augustus was the most underrated Roman leader desu. He always gets overshadowed by Gaius and the Emperors that followed him, but him and his half century long rule of traditionalism allowed Rome to become the center of civilization for the next 3-4 centuries.
He literally exiled his own daughter when she was a whore, and committed suicide himself when he thought it was the right time for Rome to get a new leader. He gave everything for his people.

I'm a big fan of Caravaggio in general, the way he contrasts light with dark always caught my eye. I saw the original of pic related in person where something about it really clicked the right buttons in my head.
