i don't think trannies ruined this board, it was r9k eating itself in various ways, the trolling nature of Jow Forums ruined this board.

Gamergate and celebrity nudes leak brought Jow Forums into mainstream attention and it hasn't been the same since. I imagine that the average age of the site has been dropping, and a lot of the older posters that were here years ago (i.e. pre-GG) have moved on from imageboards. There are some other imageboards out there that aren't infested with trannies, gays, and race baiters but they are a lot slower. I've been using Jow Forums nearly daily since 2012 because I value its anonymity and free speech over other social media (although it's almost certain that your posts are tracked and recorded with IP) but it may be time to move on soon.
