Tekken 4 is my favorite one and the one I play the most, so that's the one I mentioned. It's the one that feels the most fluid for me. Purely personal preference.

Yoshimitsu really doesn't have an offense before tekken 5. Most moves are slow but he packs a serious punch. Against a good player, his offense is sub-par but good defense. I love using him in tekken tag.

The sword poke is my favourite. The move where you sit down (and heal) then hold down and you can slide around is also fun to do.

My favorite move of his, as boring as it is, is the one where he lunge kicks forward and then does a downwards slash with his sword immediately after. I usually try to find a way to shoehorn that one into combos. I also really like the one where he's about to do Sword Poke, but then quickly slashes the opponent in the face. Oh yeah, and Samurai Cutter.

I do the crabhold thing no matter what I play. I thought that was the normal way to hold the controller.

Tekken 5 and up allow you to use "cheat" buttons to do moves like that easier. I switched between sliding my thumb to hopefully hit the right commands and the crab hold tho.

You can't do it with just a thumb. My friends always teased me I hold it autisticaly. Then my Yoshimitsu bodied them. Good times.
