nothing innately bad about being short. however it is the trait of peasants, ie those of common working status.

How so?
Jess bezos = 5'7"
bill gates - 5'10
warren bugget 5'9
mark zuckerberg 5'6
amancio ortega 5'7
carlos slim 5'8"
plus the majority of monarchs, heads of states, etc.
short men tend to occupy the highest realms of wealth, power and military might.

they are the exception to the rule. also they have to pay their way to score with the top women.

a short man with wealth is still wealthy. imagine if they had no money.

so you fall back on nothing actually bad about being short, but it's bad because people treat them badly.
so that's what I said, and it can be changed

Or it could be, y'know, many of them them being jewish and jews are shorter.

ive already said that theres nothing innately bad about being short. did i rustle some manlet jimmies?

only one of them on that list is jewish
nope not at all. thats just half the point im making we're in agreement

you cant "correct" people to change what they are attracted to. shortness isnt attractive, but theres nothing functional wrong with being short.

shortness is socialized to be seen as less attractive on average

nothing is socialized to be seen less attractive. but we can disagree.

nope, there are entire cultures with tens of thousands of members (far more than enough to draw statically causation) where women are just as attracted to men shorter than them as taller than them. so it's not about agreement, it's about scientific results

Nobody talks about height except short people.

oh ya? which "cultures" would these be, hmmm? dwarves? ohhhohohohoho!

how does that change anything about what im saying

Which modern western cultures is this in?

no, multiple cultures across the planet. The men and women are average height, maybe an inch or two shorter than western countries on average, but same distributions between the differences between the sexes

The hazda specifically are hunter gatherers where the men are taller than average (compared to men of other cultures) and yet the women have no preference for height. This is very strong evidence against the attraction being a "holdover" from evolutionary past.

He means the lollipop guild.

The point is, it's a socialized norm in modern western cultures, it's not an innate attractive qualifier. That's also why it doesn't hold completely across all women who live in westernized cultures.

It puts you at a mechanical disadvantage for deadlifting. Also top shelves exist.

On the other hand, benchpress and squats are easier if your short, and you never run into spiderwebs while walking behind a tall person.

Oh so it doesn't apply to the west, where you live? Dang. Sorry kiddo.

Society isn't ganging up on you to make you feel bad. We wouldn't have to. I could probably insult 6 or 7 midgets before they could overpower me.

lel hes serious.

so youre in agreement with the OP - it's not about shortness being bad, it's about people discriminating against it.
its just the truth. short people get discriminated against and it's morally wrong.
prove me wrong.
protip: you cant

People who worry about being eaten by lions have more important shit to worry about than height? Shocker!

Short people are literally lesser people. Being a baby when you're short isn't a good look

people who try to force changes are short

you need to analyze the society more, and you're ignoring the other ones as well
so again, you are admitting it is only a bad thing if other people make it a bad thing
>Short people are literally lesser people.
in what way?
that is neither true nor relevant

Sexual selection is a thing womem pick the taller males, deal with it. A group of 1,000 people does not prove anything

it is both true and relevant. you cant help being short, its genetics, but nn to be a mental shorty.

the hadza has 1200 members (more than enough) the other societies have ten's of thousands. plus the millions in the west who dont care.
sexual selection is still affected by nurture and environment and cultural beauty norms. Very strongly, in fact. for example, men are literally not attrated to women without these neck ring things in cultures where it is the norm. that is FAR stranger than just "women don't actually innately care about height"

then go be chad of the hazdas. desu

if people are discriminating against the some trait, why is it the moral obligation of the people with that trait to just deal with it, instead of the obligation of those practicing the discrimination to stop

see why not end height-based beauty norms in the west instead

>moral obligation

none.

Sure there is, as with all other forms of discrimination

discrimination isnt a crime. and neither is racism.

Its morally wrong is my point, whether or not it's a crime is a legal matter. and it's a crime if we define it to be. if we decide to treat racist people badly, then you can't be racist. there is nothing stopping us from applying this to height too

its not morally wrong. whats morally wrong is trying to push this bizarre acceptance onto people.

What do you mean with military might? as in bravery or as in military power? If bravery any examples?
Also I think roy benavidez was 5'7 or 5'9, not sure about that though.

no, what's morally wrong is allowing proven prejudice and discrimination and artificial standards that hurt so many people that don't need to exist just because you don't want to get over your discriminatory behavior and prejudice.
the victims take the morally precedence, not the people who are hurting others.
