what would you do if you were offered the possibility to win $100k and all you had to do is use a 1996 cellphone for a year. >no tablet or smartphones >laptop and pc okay >if you make it 6 months you get $10k >just use a 96 cellphone for a year
Real question is: who wouldn't be able to do this? $100k for not using a smartphone? What are you going to seriously give up 100k to browse social media? Dumb ass contest
Nolan Gonzalez
I already do this.
Levi Reed
Most people are slaves to their phone and can't live without the dopamine rush and need for instant communication.
Robert Martinez
lol what literally nothing would change and I'd get free money Too bad they'll only select some roast who tweets "LIEK OMG I'D LIKE LITTERALLY DIEEE WITHOUT MY PHONE"
Christian Jones
I understand that, but you would still have a phone. So you could still call people if you REALLY needed to get into contact with someone.
John Flores
Yeah but they don't really want to be in contact with people. They just want to look at other people's shit.
Justin Russell
I already do that, since I never use my phone aside from calls and cam.
Ayden Peterson
Do 1996 cellphones have SMS?
Evan Collins
All I use my phone for is PUBG, porn and YouTube when Im too lazy to even sit. So yeah. I could do this easily. You see when you are a normie not only do you have many contacts but you have to constantly keep contact with said contacts or else you miss out.
But I wouldnt get the money anyway. See that lie detector part? Lie detectors are proven qseudo science and I have a long history of neurotic behavior dating back to when I was 11. This challenge is a sham.
Luis Lee
>laptop or PC fine
HELL YES. EASY MONEY.
David Peterson
If These people are getting money to not be normie, then I deserve a billion dollars.
Austin Cooper
I dont even own a phone. I used to have a phone but my get like 20 missed calls from my mom when she needs me to go home. As a result I gave my phone to my brother because his phone broke and never had one ever since
Chase Perry
Yep. The 2010 was released in 94 I think and that started the sms craze here.
Christopher Powell
Yeah but Normies would think you're a freak using a 20 year old phone as it says in the article, I'd be up to it if it was a Nokia brick from the 00's.
Kevin Reyes
>has SMS Well that's not even a challenge then.
>normies'd think you're a freak user, I...
Gavin Campbell
Did that until 3 years ago, no fucks given. Only bargained for some smartphone from a bro when that old thing broke, and it is nearly as ancient. Besides you need to leave the house AND get calls first, robots advantage.
Luke Cox
This is essentially like giving me a free $100,000.
Luis Johnson
>possibility Aside from that whatever, I mostly use my phone as a glorified music player and PDA with web capabilities.
Easton Ross
i've never used or owned one so i could manage it
Gavin Martin
How would that even be hard? If a PC is ok, then it's barely even a change.
Gavin Long
I barely even use my phone for anything other than the occasional text or call. The only things I'd miss are the memo feature to keep a todo list with me, podcasts to listen to while doing chores, and sudoku and similar games while taking a poop. All of which I could replicate with other devices.
