Anyone else tired of the housing market?

Anyone else tired of the housing market?
>Housing is too expensive to live on your own
>Living with roommates is terrible as normies are all dumb and dirty. Living with family is stressful if you have a bad family life to begin with.

Reeeee I just want my own comfy studio sized apartment at around 500$ a month. Instead my only option is to go on disability for mental issues but the process in the shit State i'm in takes at least 2 years minimum to get disability for mental problems and even then most people have to (((hire a lawyer and sue))) because the cases keeps on getting rejected on purpose to make it harder and you have to file for appeals.

Having no personal living space is horrible. I can't shit with the door open if I want to, Normies are always dirty leaving messes in every single room, piss on the toliet seat crumbs and spills on the kitchen counter, beers cups plates in the living room, always loud and intrusive. Living with family there's things like my mom always being judgmental, or having to get changed in the hot steamy bathroom after showers because my mom doesnt want me walking around in a towel because my sister lives there but my sister can walk to her room in a towel meanwhile my room is detached from the main house and i can't even walk to there and get ready in my room. Or every single time there's fucking peanut butter in the jelly jar and jelly in the peanut butter jar and toast crumbs in the butter tub things like that. Neighbors are always doing something and i always hear people walk by. Can't just put on music or a youtube video in peace because always feel judged by neighbors. My hygeine goes down because I don't want to be seen or interact with people when people are over almost every day. I JUST WANT A COMFY DECENT PRICED STUDIO APARTMENT I CAN LIVE FREELY IN REEEEEE

Rent a room. I've lived in 10 different rooms (in houses) over the past 10 years, and I always had a good time. Nothing much to add, neighbours were good, landlords were ok, had an exciting time in my 20s.

not at all. I pay 650 britbux for a 2 bed, office, and garage bungalow in a nice street. I'll probably buy it. When I first moved out I paid 280 for a studio with separate kitchen. though that was in a fairly shit area and had no heating.

I've no sympathy for people who can't even save to move out to an affordable area.

I'm currently paying 700 bucks for a small one bedroom flat on my own, its pretty nice and secluded with only 3 neighbours in the building, but this was only because anywhere I could find on my own for a reasonable price, unless I wanted a literal box where the kitchen/lounge/bed is all in one big square for not even much less. Even then I had to jump for it as soon as it was available since they could go off the market in 20 minutes.
The worst is I couldn't even convince anyone I knew who wanted to move to split for a two bedroom place for not even 800 because "they were too comfortable where they were" and shit, at least i've got some peace and can do as I please.

I'm too mentally ill to work you brainlet and I can't move to a new State to get my States neetbux.

In a year and a half I will be living the sweet neetbux life but will still be mad over how high housing is anyways irregardless of how much money I make. This thread is about high housing prices not about being poor.

About to play $1250 for a 1000sqft, 1br townhome in a piece of shit town in the middle of nowhere HAHAHAHA just fucking end me

>Flat
>Brit

Yikes no thanks i'd rather be poor in America than middle class in Europe and have all my taxes taken, forced to ride a bike because cars are too expensive for most adults, or needing a license to watch tv while living in a shitty weather climate or have no job in southern europe.

taxes are fuck all and I can definitely afford a car. and you don't actually need a license, thats a bullshit meme and if you pay it you're old or stupid because they can't even enforce it. Weather I'll give you but even then it hardly matters
then stop bitching.absolutely nothing to pity you for. you live with mommy? boo fucking hoo

Oi you sure about that mate? You got a loicense for that loicense btw?

Pretty sure given I live here, never paid it in 10 years. People come to the door and you don't have to answer it. Besides who the fuck even watches tv these days when they can stream and download everything.

also its not even a large amount of money if you do choose to pay it.

and we don't get asked for ID for plastic knives, jesus.

I'm guessing you either live in the North or the middle of nowhere in a shithole

650 quid gets you a shitty bedroom in a house share in the civilised bits of england

This is one of the main reasons why I'm so on bored with stopping immigration, both legal and illegal.

Housing prices are through the fucking roof, people can't afford to live. If you don't make a bunch of money, you can be spending up to 50% of your paycheck on rent.

Yet we keep importing millions and millions of people every fucking year who obviously drive the price of rent up. Goddamn enough is enough

>have all my taxes taken
>from a country that forces people to renounce their citizenship so they don't pay US tax when working abroad

It must suck making so little money that having to pay taxes affects how much you earn

That's a personal anecdote. I posted proof that the state and police do in fact harass citizens over a tv license. What would happen if like most people they don't know the law or just comply. Then they get subject to search for a tv license. Who wants to live in fear of answering the door in case a state paid goon shoves his leg in your door and barges in? The cops backed up him barging in btw. Watch the video.

>police
Not paying your TV license is a civil matter, the police would not get involved.

Plus I'd prefer to live in a country where I have to "worry" about paying 150 a year rather than worry about getting killed by the police or a black guy every day

I know because I live here. You're going by fucking worst case scenario on youtube kek. those are likely just retards who got caught out by being obvious. You only need to license for bbc channels, and they cant tell if you go on them with your laptop.

I get license letters, and I ignore them, I get the dudes at my door. I ignore them. Its barely enforceable and only retards don't know it.

I rather get a TV license than be killed for calling the police.

Why dont you do what the Mexicans do and buy a Reno house for a fraction of the price and slowly fix it up.

yes because I have sense. I live in scotland. I have no trouble and its like living anywhere else. I could also get a beautiful 5 bedroom farmhouse for a couple of hundred more and by moving a couple miles out.
if by civilised you mean overpriced and still surrounded by pakis? sure. if thats what you prefer

>rentals are dead because building and maintaining water- and ice age proof houses is economically impossible
>still have to pay a shit ton of taxes to support the remaining druggies who got the priviliege to live in one
>have the same salary level as a senior specialist nurse, still cant afford more than a single room apartment in the outer suburbs

Fuck all these boomers and engineers, whats the point in driving up house prices beyond the point of what people can buy? I want to move out already reee

I have my own one bedroom apartment. It is truly my happy place. its too expensive and I can't afford nice food but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Thats not going to lower housing prices. Housing prices are high because there are too many laws to inhibit new construction and because people are earning higher wages. If you want cheaper houses, you need to free up the market.

why do americans always use this. Most of us with sense don't even bother as there's no way they can even tell or prove you're watching bbc channels, unless you let them in like a fucking idiot.

>whats the point in driving up house prices beyond the point of what people can buy?
gotta sell it for that retirement user, sure Martha and Bob down the way weren't able to sell but we will!

Of course it would lower housing prices, you absolute walnut. When you introduce millions of people each and every single year like we've been doing, and then make it much harder to construct new homes like california has done, it makes the prices of rentals and home ownership skyrocket. This is why California has the most people living in poverty now of any state in the nation, because of the astronomical housing costs.

This is basic supply and demand...

Except thats not true. Just saying, "basic economics" isnt the same as actually knowing economics. Demand only includes peopel who have an ability to pay, so people who cant afford houses are not factored into demand for houses, only the people who are buying them are. Housing prices are high because there are enough people (due to increased wages) who can afford to buy them, and because there is no new housing being built because that would lower the value of the homes already owned by voters. The only way immigration could affect housing prices would be if the immigrants were richer than the native inhabitants or if they were being forced to live in the US, rather than as a result of rational decision making. If you actually had even a basic education in economics you would know that restricting the market is going to cause an increase in prices. If you want some anecdotal proof, just look at housing in countries with little immigration, like Japan. Low birthrates and low immigration, so houses should be cheap right? But they arent.

I unironically spend 44.8% of my monthly paycheck on rent. Internet and electric included, ~52% of my monthly pay goes to living where I do.

t. city of 180,000 in a flyover state

I'd gladly do that. I pay $850 just to rent out a bedroom in a guys house.

>Demand only includes peopel who have an ability to pay, so people who cant afford houses are not factored into demand for houses

That's beyond stupid. We're talking about HOUSING here, which is a basic need for everybody, especially people with children...doesn't matter if they don't have a lot of money they will obviously spend it on housing you nitwit. That's why demand is so fucking high, which is why prices are so fucking high!

>Housing prices are high because there are enough people (due to increased wages) who can afford to buy them, and because there is no new housing being built because that would lower the value of the homes already owned by voters.

No, it's created a bubble because there's too many people and not enough homes. Also, we don't need mile after mile of boring commieblocks either, we need fewer people coming into the country.

>The only way immigration could affect housing prices would be if the immigrants were richer than the native inhabitants or if they were being forced to live in the US, rather than as a result of rational decision making.

Completely wrong again. You have a set amount of homes and apartments. Illegals rent out the bottom apartments in huge numbers, that SHOULD go to citizens, especially kids out of high school. Now the kids out of high school have to move up and rent something nicer/more expensive with their parents money, and the people who normally would go for these apartments have to spend ever more of their salary on living.

>like Japan.

Really great example, you brainlet. Surely you realize that Japan is a fucking ISLAND right? An island with a high population and not a lot of buildable areas will of course have expensive housing.

>everything you just said
Wrong and stupid. Go get a degree in economics and tell me if you still think that.
>inb4 muh liberal jewish brainwashing
