what is this place? it looks comfy desu
it's from skyrim IV
You mean skyrim, of course?
Balmora from Morrowind
All comfy
Btw, any anons play tes3mp?
Anvil, the city by the coast in oblivion. It's called the golden coast because when there's a sunset the whole region is covered in a, well, golden glow.
It is grade A+ comfy
why is skyrim so fucking uncomfy? no matter how much I modded it there was no way to get the same feeling as with oblivion
skyrim is just so devoid of soul
>what is special edition
It really feels like a fantasy world. Skyrims setting is basically just Scandinavia plus goblins and shit.
Sounds pretty shit actually but probably not as shit as this.
I find it comfy desu, but in a different way to Oblivion.
I use Requiem as a base overhaul mod which makes things 10X harsher, and then survival mods on top of that so you need to eat, sleep, drink, stay warm, can make camp sites etc. Sometimes when you've just about survived something, and your character is near freezing and then you get into a tavern and warm yourself up by the fire, oh boy does the comfy kick in.
I also use the "dark souls" mod so that when you go into your inventory, lockpick, pick pocket or read a book etc, time doesn't freeze around you. It works in real-time now. This is mostly to make things more difficult so you have to be much more careful, but it's also surprisingly comfy to sort through your inventory, make plans or read the books while chilling in a tavern because you can still see & hear everything happening around you in the background.
I think a huge charm of Oblivion was its soundtrack. Its the GOAT as far as im concerned.

Oblivion is my favorite but morrowind & skyrim had great soundtracks too. They went in an "atmospheric" direction with skyrim so its quite different, but still good.
What's going on with Skywind and Skyblivion? Are they still working on them?
I've been fantasizing about stuff like this for half a year now.
Just thinking about what life would be like, how it could be simpler and better
I wish I could play skyrim again with that comfy kinda feel. Sexlab ruined skyrim for me. Fuck.
something about Oblivion was so charming and cozy. really felt like i was in a new world exploring everything. skyrim was pretty but i never got into it. never even finished it even though i got it on release day
I doubt life would be much different, only harder.
>nice warm summer day
>leave your village for a slow walk through the meadows with your waifu
>find a great oak tree
>fall asleep under it in the cool shade, holding each other
>you wake to a minotaur standing over you
>he crushes you and your waifu with one stomp
>his massive dick just dangling there, gently brushing your face as you take your final breath
>6 years later
>contrarians are the still bitching about one of the greatest games ever
Yes, we get it, you played Elder Scrolls before Skyrim.
I just wanna be a npc living a comfy life outside the imperial city in a cottage studying the arcane.
the more I play skyrim, installing mods, starting it on my pc, game crashes, the less I care about rpg's in general. I used to play on xbox and just enjoy my time gaming, now I can't even enjoy it anymore, no matter the mods, the graphics, plot, etc... Rpg's used to be my life and now its dull, I have nothing else. Feels very empty.
/brumafags/ here?
skywind is dead, the devs are moving at a snails pace, jesus the last time they did release anything I was in my junior year of high school around 4 years ago.
I fucking love Bruma. Best city imo. My nord paladin lives there to spend the rest of his days drinking mead with his kin.
>tfw you will never wake up in Skingrad and enjoy Salmo's sweetrolls for the rest of your life
I use to wonder how I'd be if I lived in Vvardenfell, I'd imagine I'd be just as useless there as I am in my current life. Just with more stuff trying to kill me of course.
I hope you're not an N'wah and can chew hackle-Lo.
>you will never chill in a cyrodillic tavern with NPCs having the most autistic conversations around you
Maybe it's why Jow Forums liked oblivion so much, it's this board but in a game
>Be Dunmer
>Hate outsiders and call them n'wahs
>Move to skyrim
>Complain because the nords treat them as outsiders
kek, free noose for anyone who plans to stretch them out using knife ears as weight
Do I get an alcoholic Khajiit waifu to go along with it?
>You and your waifu fall asleep under the shade of a great oak tree
>you wake up bound to a tree
>they've put an iron collar around your neck so you can't work magic
>your waifu is bound spread-legged to a wagon, crying and screaming
>a gang of satyrs is surrounding her, grotesque members as big as your forearm held up in slings from their shoulders
>A few goblin slaves are preparing a fire under a massive cauldron - presumably, once they're done with your and your waifu, you're on the menu
>she gives you one last look of desperation before the first and smallest of the satyrs begins to bury himself inside her - the rest are lined up in order of smallest (roughly 12"x8") to largest (26"x14", held aloft by little imps with catch-poles), ready to have their turn
tfw no second life as a magican/thief who lives in a apartment in cyrodiil
Elder Scrolls
Modded Elder Scrolls
>tfw ill never be able to play morrowind
being poor sucks
Oooooh oh oooh oho ho oh SHIT
I think I need to skyrim again. God damn... It's just so comfy
Gonna add mods of course too
What mods? Something really simple that I like is pastel map markers.
I'm here to kick ass and chew hackle-lo and i'm all out of Hackle-lo.
Anvil is my favorite city in Oblivion. i always thought if it was real i'd just sit at the inn and watch the harbor while drinking and talking to friends.
Snowish gray and bleak. A good excuse for the devs not to put more work
>having an opinion is contrarian
